The person from Australian Idol sang this song so much better. I think his name was Guy Sebastian. But he killed this song. Blake just sounds like a guy who can't really sing that will picking a song that doesn't have a lot of vocal range.

Emm. I'm from Malaysia & we do have our idol which now the show has already changed to 'One in a Million'. We do have such a contestants like Blake (even if not really at Blake's level). But. AI provide/produce more capable singer that can do singing. Not just prepare a song for a week and perform a bit better than previous week. They really sing & interpret in the challenging way. Blake is one of the example!

when will people find out that this is not a singing contest, its how well you can entertain people. if it was about singing, Melinda smoked em' all. now blake is an amazing, entertainer,thats different, thats why they let jordin win, because she wont sell very long. most american idols dont sell as well as the runner ups. this is also why Sanjaya will do well. he can sing, if you havent noticed, when hes not being judged. blake, melinda, sanjaya, phil, and lakesha will all do very well.
