you have to install them via usb. Just copy that gamefiles via USB to the SD-Card and create a link. It is not too difficult.

Therefore you don't need disks and you have longer time with the accu.

I own a PSP and I have to admit - I like the GP2X! I hate converting all those vids till I can finally see them on PSP, Sony doesn't want you to get homebrew... NOOO! They want you to buy all their games (which aren't even that good)and upgrade your system for several other great things (such as the impossibillity to usw homebrew).

The GP2X is a damn fine thing... You can emulate so great consoles, such as SNES oder MAME... yeah PSP does that too- but with fullspeed?

Does the PSP or DS support classic, timeless games like Quake, Marathon, Doom, SMB, etc without custom firmware or bulky flash carts? Nope. The DS is good for new games, the PSP is good for multimedia and ports of PS2 games with PS1 graphics, and the GP2x is good for homebrew.

It's a linux based handheld supporting common dev tools so a lot of emulators and apps can be ported relatively easily (and quickly). search for gp2x on youtube to see more

The psp is better, the psp can emulate most all of this shit, and plus has new games with decent graphics, not fuckin NES Graphics. When this thing can emulate GTA VCS, Ill trade my psp in, in a heartbeat.

PSP emulation? LOL ur funny. all the emulators u mentioned, PSP also has it. psp has 333MHz clock speed while this has 200MHz. better battery life? 2 AA batteries? lol. and it last 5-6hrs. do ur research.

Cheaper because it isn't sold below cost with an optical drive. Cheaper because over-priced games aren't what keeps the company in business. PSP screen is worse, it just is, facts are facts. It is blurry and the cheapest $ony could get. 3.5" @ 4:3 ratio IS BIGGER than 4.3" @ 16:9 ratio. NO USB peripherals on PSP, no TV-Out. Better depends on your needs and budget.

GP2X was made purely for home-brew. The PSP CPU can run at 333mhz but you forgot that it's locked at a lower speed to prevent over heating and extend battery life.

Just imagin how long the battery would last if it wasn't underclocked. (1 hour. lol)

yes, it is lock at 222mhz. i wonder if u had tried to clock it to 333mhz. look, a normal batteries would last 3-4hrs for gp2x. (i've tried) unless u use good batteries would last like 5-6hrs. my psp certinly last more than 3-4hrs at 333mhz.

If you mean navigation is bad, no it isn't. There are alternative launchers and even an auto-launch of anything you want. Fiel=file? I am guessing you mean "menu choice". Ass good = JLo. The screen is good and TV-Out for emulators is awesome. Interface is completely up to the user, using a different menu system is up to you, it is only as boring as you are. Plus once you get where you want to go, who cares? I suppose your fridge is "boring" with all those shelves of food on them?
