Ron Paul is a man ahead of his time.I agree with 99% of what he stands for & 100% if I misinterpreted what he said at a debate.It cost my Mother a bit over $25.000 a year for medicines alone to keep her healthy & alive.I could have sworn Ron Paul said something to the effect ' I want patients to see the doctors they choose and pay for their services instead of the government programs & pay for their own medications as well '. that correct ? Either way he has my vote.

Then people can choose to opt out of these programs so they basically become an insurance program. There is really no other way out because the alternative is to print more money (inflation tax) or raise taxes.
This will give positve effect all over the world if this man gets ellected. Imagine a world without federal reserve IMF and UN.

i am a student from Britain finishing off a degree in politics/international relations, and I am moving to america at the end of this year to work as a journalist. He is too old. You must get libertarians elected to the House of Representatives.
The founders gave the House to us for this purpose. You only have to convince a few thousand of your neighbors to elect your rep instead of 1.6 million people all across the country to elect a president. And you need to take the House eventually anyway because you need someone to pass the bills the president would sign into law. RP as president wouldn't have anything but veto power--you need real law making.

I am again apalled and dismayed at the reluctance of the republican party and its supporters to hold you as the doctor (pun intended) that will fix their credibility. However I don't think your supporters were from any one party. Anyone and everyone who has ever heard of you, which are many and from different ends of the political spectrum, believe you would have made the next great president. we'll find out in 2012.
