any tips to get muskrats out of a pond they r ruining i only hav one box trap and i dont see any runs along the bank any way i could bait them or something? thanks in advance for any help

@paoutdoors95 -- there are many ways to trap them. box traps dont work well in ponds. the best thing to do is find some bank den holes and use some conibears. if that doesnt work try a bait set along the bank with leg traps in the water. if you need more info let me know

ahh trapping is so much fun, the seasons almost over for me this year but next year im definitely experimenting with these traps next year. As soon as i learn to make it lol

We have a sort of creek. But the tunnel below the road are smaller.

It is easier to trap them. But most times they get drowned.

To get the rats into the submarine trap what bait do you use in the trap?

I heard it is not uncommon to find most of the rats chewed on by each other in those submersion traps.

@79Testo you dont need any bait. and they wont chew each other. they are to busy trying to escap than biting each other. just set them in runs where they dive!
