I agree with Quadcentruo about his idea of the symbolism of the blades. one signifies his promise to one of his only true freinds. the other signifies the fate of those who dare stand in his path: a direct sentence to oblivion.

@Quadcentruo no they represent the bond of sora with kairi and riku because xion was crafted out of the memories of kairi and axel was to him what riku was to sora. the reason why he can wield two keyblades is because ventus's heart resides in sora and after that in roxas thats also the reason he can feel more emotion (if you do not know who ventus is play birth by sleep)

I didn't get this at first, but I do now.

The reason why Roxas has Oathkeeper and Oblivion is because of his promise to Xion.

He will keep his oath to Xion of freeing Kingdom Hearts and he will send anyone who gets in his way to Oblivion.

Why didn't I get that at first?

I think you're right about Roxas' Oathkeeper, but I think the reason for him having Oblivion could also be because Xion was lost to oblivion after the battle between her and Roxas, and besides... Why would Roxas willingly toss Oblivion to Riku and not just take it back? Xion probably still had enough power over her Keyblade to command Roxas to throw it to Riku, and keep it under Riku's control, thinking Roxas wasn't ready to take on Xemnas just yet. So Oblivion is Xion's Keyblade.

Fake? I don't think Xion's Keyblade was a fake, just that it was actually Roxas' Keyblade, despite the fact that both her and Roxas could wield their Keyblades at the same time. Riku probably called it a fake because he sensed it held only half the power a Keyblade should contain, as Roxas was probably also on a mission while Xion and Riku fought. Then, after Roxas got all his power back, since the Keyblade was already split in two, Roxas was able to dual-wield Oathkeeper and Oblivion.

@Orangeodude No, it was fake. And it was confirmed by the creator of the game it was fake. The whole thing about who was using whose keyblade is extremely confusing. Basically. No on used Ven's keyblade until Roxas began to dual wield. Roxas used Sora's keyblade. Xion used a replica keyblade she made after using it to kill darkside because she basically mimics Roxas. The most confusing part is that whiel Roxas used Sora's keyblade, Sora didn't use his own keyblade in Castle Oblivion...continued

@Orangeodude In Castle Oblivion, everything was based on memories. So Sora just used a replica of his own keyblade that was created from his memories. And it even had all the powers the original one had, Except it wasn't real. It was really just for plot hole purposes that they did that because you can't share keyblades between two people. A similar thing was done in Re:Coded. That Keyblade was based on the journal's memory of the keyblade. While it worked just like a keyblade it wasn't real.

Then what about when Roxas and Sora fought in KH2? Three Keyblades were being used there, so which one was fake? And if Roxas used Ven's Keyblade when he began dual-wielding, why did he only dual-wield after Xion returned to Sora? What caused Roxas to throw his Oblivion to Riku without being able to just snatch it back from him? (As you can see, Xion's Keyblade apparently being fake makes things very confusing for me (and being a KH fan I HATE not knowing every little thing about it)).

@Orangeodude Well, as far as the fight goes, that was in a heart station. Anything can happen there tbh. About Xion fusing allowing him to dual wield. Well, if you remember Xion kept absorbing memories from Roxas throughout the game. Mostly Sora's memories. But when Sora had no memories left to give she began to absorb the one's in Roxas's heart. Aka ven's heart. That's why Xigbar saw her as Ven in that scene. After those memories went back to Roxas they were no longer sleeping memories because

One could be Xion was using the last of her strength to keep it from Roxas. Or it could be that the keyblade Roxas/Xion threw was Sora's. And if you remember that was originally Riku's blade. Since, Roxas was so blinded by rage at the time it may have just decided to stay with Riku at the time After Roxas beat Riku it

Except I still don't know everything about KH 'cause it sure isn't anywhere close to over yet (or at least I hope it isn't), with a cliffhanger being the true ending of KHReC, I'm hoping at least two or three more games get squeezed out of KH before the grand finale. So, do you know of any sites I can refer to if there's anything else about KH I'm confused about, or can I just keep bugging you whenever there's something to do with KH that I'm confused about?

Heh, yeah, I knew KH3Ds was coming out, that's why I got myself a 3DS already. I've seen a trailer or two for it on YouTube. KH3DS seems to be mostly about Sora and Riku taking the Mark of Mastery exam from what I can gather from the trailers, but knowing the way KH goes, I'll just guess that there's way more to it than that. Yeah, practically same scenario here, but I never got half a chance to play any of the FM games. (I wish I knew someone who would lend me a FM game for even just a little bit though. (Lucky)). I like the storyline a lot, and I'm the type of gamer that likes to see everything a game has to offer, so I think FM games only being availible in Japan(ese) is slightly unfair, as even if most FM games don't have much extra story, I'd still like to get the FM games just for the extra game play.

Go to Kingdom Hearts Wiki and you'll get all the information you need. I think it has more to do with the fact that Roxas contains a piece of Sora's heart who in turn had a piece of Ventus' heart from Birth by Sleep. Don't quote me on that because I'm not sure.

@bowsercrushmario Because Sora has cure, which is worth more than any amount of hp :P And he showed the ability to wield 3 keyblades, and you don´t give th main character all his powers right away, he needs them for future games. And I think Roxa just had the power of Ventus within him as well.

@bowsercrushmario roxas has two keyblades cos the other one is xions he killed her remember ? and now he can equip them but i dont know why its oblivion and oathkeeper i think its something to do with light and darkness im not sure =/
