  • i learned something new today...many thanks !!

  • thanks for the lesson

  • Hello sir, and thanks for this video. I don't know if you have any knowledge on alternate turnarounds? I am studying this book called "Blues you can use" by John ganapes and on p.30 he talks about some alternate turnarounds. I just wanted to ask if you have ever read this book and if this section makes any sense to you??? I already understand the turnaround are the last 2 bars of a 12 bars blues progression, the most basic being the V chord going back to the I chord (last 4 are V-IV-I-V).

  • @medra1980 sorry I meant to say the I chord going to the V chord and the alternate turnarounds are on p.48, they just don't sound right ..... *

  • Do you break your finger to make that D there?

  • Robert Johnson didn't have a yellow bucket or any air conditioner filters. [ this was intended to be funny - hope it works]

Thanks for the great lesson. I for one appreciate it.

    Big Ron

  • @Vermillion2176 You're right, of course. But, just think of what he could have done with a bucket and some filters!

  • Thanks a lot for the lesson ! Feels great to play this ;)

  • Muchas gracias, amigo. . .

  • if your doing it THEN YOU DO KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING

    THANKS FOR THE LESSON

  • what is the tab for the E9? I am having trouble figuring that one out.

  • You need an E, Gb, B, chords and I think Ab, so you can do that with a D formation on the 4th fret, and you can play the Gb on the D string 4th fret and I believe that is E9
