they were puny 275's on a 10.5" inch wheel... im running 315's now... and yeah it is lowered with H & R sport springs.

Yeah your right....I wasn't thinkin' when I posted the comment. My 4.0 has SOHC, as well but....I may swap it for a 4.6l cobra motor. A lot of work, but in the end it'll be worth it, considering I'll be doing it after I graduate college for auto tech

Don't much like the glass pack pingy cheap sound..You'll find this in the SLP and Magnaflow overpriced systems..Mac and Flowmaster have the best sound cat-back wise.

If you are asking if the '97 Cobra's came stock with a supercharger, then no. Only the 2003-2004 Cobra's came from the factory with superchargers already installed. Well, minus the new 500GT Cobra's.
