For those that think what they saw was one of our own military craft, they would never test one over a populated area, because of danger to the populace. Many of the 10,000 witnesses were directly beneath the lights, and saw that it was a solid object, many of which described the bottom of the craft as "shimmering," and even appearing to have fluid-like movement.
