unfortunately, it was neither ported to the SNES nor the Genesis. it's quite ironic that the attract mode mentioned that Mystic Warriors was "sure to be a mega hit", but thanks to a certain ultraviolent fighter, it became a sleeper hit

my favorite segment of this game is the underwater boss fight in stage 3. what i'm confused about is how long the main ninjas can stay underwater for so long without running out of air.

Konami fails for not making Super NES and Genesis ports of this game. I would kill to have a rip of this game's soundtrack, especially the first stage. I play this on MAME all the time.
