If your math says 1GB ~= 1 hour, you are likely using 480P video. It's good for on-the-go consumption, but not really high quality. If you go to 720P it's high quality, but more like 3-4GB pr hour.
I'm wondering when Micron will make a low-power, low performance, high capacity NAND die for storage of things like this, streaming content, that doesn't need 5000 IOPS or 50-100MB/s+ bandwidth. That with a large streaming buffer and aggressive power saving seems to me ideal for tablets.
