  • Thanks for bringing back all those memories

  • No Doors? Blehhh.

  • this video was fantastic im using it in my 40th birthday 60s 70s partey!!!!!!tnx alot it was great work and lots of my fav songs, lise from norway

  • It's interesting how music takes you back to when we used to think things were complicated and everyone hoped the future would be better. Instead, today, we out-matched those old difficulties in life, but a factor of ten. Everything was made in the USA, you could get a job, quit, and get another job overnight, and family meant something. Now, the world hates our country with probable cause, you can't use your degree to get any job, and families are broken and separated. What's next?

  • Excellent compilation JB! Really enjoyed it, brought back great memories....

  • I hope you earned an A+

  • how is Tears for Fears not in this?

  • You did a great job putting it all together.

  • My mom used to have the song purple haze on a record player, unplugged, and it started going round and round playing jimmi hendrix when it wasnt plugged in, or working e.o pretty scary ass shit.

  • The Beatles ftw ;) </3 Made me realize how rubbish todays society is. Oh my, I'm brainwashed by the 60's. It's sad I was born into this era

  • Great video.

    Thanks for the memories.

  • @bekala1 Your teacher showed my video in class? That's so cool! I'm glad you knew the songs too. They're great songs :)

  • @bekala1 Ahh. If they played it at my school everyone would be turning their noses up at them. I'd be raving to the Beatles. It's sad to think my generation (10 year olds) think like that.

They just don't realize, do they? :'(

  • Good vibrations.

  • @icecold40oz they were FAR from retarded, im still a teenager and i absolutely love 60s music. i wish it was still like this, it was so innocent.

  • i dont know why but i turn the radio off every time i hear the start of brown eyed girl

  • My god the 60's were retarded!

  • @icecold40oz My god you're an idiot! :P

  • I never knew Brown Eyed Girl was a 60's song until now! My mom used to play it all the time whenI was a kid and I never looked it up. Always thought it was an indie song from the early 80's.

  • Thank you for your effort and sharing...brings back lots of great memories for me....I lived the era of this music...spent alot of time at the Filmore West in San Francisco, wonderful times and wonderful friends !

  • I enjoyed it no matter what

  • 5:35 I LOVE THAT PICTURE

  • Every one knows who these artist are and a lot of them are long dead. And every one will know their name 50, 100, 300 and even 1000+ years from now (If humans are still around). No one will remember this Ice cube, kanye west, lil kim, Kesha, bullshit 1 year from now. CLICK THE THUMBS UP THINGY IF YOU AGREE!!!

  • You did a great job on this being fron the baby boomers era i relete to all of these songs

  • Tocino 0:06

  • im just 16, and i love the 60's. beatles are my fav band!

  • @cvfs24

Its cool that you love the beatles but no one gives the slightest shit how old you are. (sorry but lm sick of hearing "omg lm 13 and l love 60's music or lm 14 and hate todays music.") Its annoying.

  • gostei ...amei.... quero mais...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol the monkees, good show

  • LA EPOCA DE ORO DEL ROCK AQUEL TIEMPO DESDE LOS 50S HASTA LOS 80's no se ha vuelto a escuchar hasta el momento musical igual

  • your lack of whole lotta love disturbs me

  • Groovy!

  • @katissweet Thank you!

  • @brownrecluse446 I know there's a lot of great bands that could have been included and weren't. I hope you understand though that this was first and foremost a school project and therefore had to cater to what a high school class would enjoy hearing. I had a huge list of 60s songs I had put together and these are some of the top songs that they chose. Maybe I'll do another video that showcases more of the great 60s bands.

  • @KedmenecMartin Agreed

  • @xxTitanicRocksxx If you really look, you can still find some talented people. They may not be available through mainstream radio, but they do exist...

  • pin ball wizard wasnt the 60S

  • @mrhitmanisback Pinball Wizard was released on March 7, 1969

  • @mrhitmanisback of course it was, Tommy came out in 1969, The Who played it entirely at Woodstock, for example...

  • cool medley! you, my brown eyed girl! shalalalala!!! i just saw a video of a group that

has totally captured the 60s rat pack beatnik vibe. ck them out. some swinging hipsters.

  • there practically all male bands!

  • @hannahscottdavies There were not many girl groups or decent singers of note in the 60's, come to think of it there are'nt any now!!

  • @hannahscottdavies Unfortunately, it is mostly the men that really become popular in much but I'll tell you what - send me a list of kick-ass female artists/groups, and I will make that my next video. Sound good?

  • Wheres the elvis????

  • @princess45810 I'm sorry about not including your favorite. There were a lot of great artists from the sixties and unfortunately, they can't all be shown. I do love a good Elvis song though =)

    ONLY BEATLES :p

  • @dazdn1k Haha

  • u forgot Dylan and Joplin, the animals and the doors, but this is already said

instead u put stupid beatles 3 TIMES (!!!)

well, anyways, not that bad mix :)

  • @ninchan2 I know there's a lot that I could have included and didn't. There was a lot of talent in the sixties. As it was though, this was for a school project and I was already WAYYYY over the time limit. I had to go first and play this as people entered the classroom to even be able to show the video. It was very hard to try to fit all the talent of a decade into what was supposed to be a 3 to 4 minute video at most. I do love Dylan and Joplin though and I'm sorry they weren't included.

  • beatles are the best ever!!!!!! :D

  • what about creedence clearwater revival

  • Pinball Wizard was from the 70s

  • @jaknzax Pinball Wizard was released on March 7, 1969

  • Beatles, Hendrix, and Beach Boys... over n over. You left out a lot of other amazing bands of the 60s. List gets a D +

  • @LSUcHamp606 I'm sorry you feel that way. I hope you understand though that this was first and foremost a school project and therefore had to cater to what a high school class would enjoy hearing. I had a huge list of 60s songs I had put together and these are some of the top songs that they chose. Maybe I'll do another video that showcases more of the great 60s bands.

  • The Doors? The Band? The Grateful Dead? Janis Joplin? Buffalo Springfield? Arlo Guthrie? Bob Marley? Hell, Bo Diddley was still around along with a lot of other blues legends (who's music, together with the beat generation, SHAPED music from the 60s), for that matter.

But no, the Beach Boys and the Supremes are just as good, right?

  • @panicxitsxbrea I agree - those were marvelous artists and groups. I hope you understand though that this was first and foremost a school project and therefore had to cater to what a high school class would enjoy hearing. I had a huge list of 60s songs I had put together and these are some of the top songs that they chose. Maybe I'll do another video that showcases more of the great 60s bands.

  • I was a teen in the 60s. the best years of my life.

Things were ruined by the politicians and unions in the 70s and are just as bad today.

    Brian

  • Nice to see some of the old songs. Surprised there wasn't any Elvis.

  • @EmperorGeorgeVII Unfortunately, my class at the time didn't have a musical palette that included Elvis. I would have loved to have included him. I love Elvis. Are You Lonesome Tonight? is my favorite song by him.

  • Animals-House of rising sun?

  • You did a terrific job! Take Care, Buddy.

  • beatles ROCK

  • @brownrecluse446 damn straight

  • There was an explosion of creativity in music from 1955 to about 2005ish. It is dead and gone now. Viva La Vida was the final gasp.

  • @Albacorewing i dont think so,music started to get down since 80's,80's had some great stuff,90's few good stuff and 2000's crap, but i realised too that the music have become very very crappy the last 5 years

  • I was looking through my Cell Phone site for a ringback tone & came across "Wild Thing" by The Troggs. * I grew up in this era.* I decided to look up their songs, and ended up here with your video. YOUR HARD WORK PAID OFF! I love it. ~Thanks~
