  • hey why on the exposed video they cut out the 2nd verse and break down ? surprised to hear this in its entirety.

  • whatheefuuck?!

  • Trivia: Audience footage from this concert was used in the Aussie movie "Weekend with Kate". Probably without permission, too. :) If you watch closely in that movie, you can see a sign saying "We love Ace" (or similar, definitely says "Ace" on it, but it's been a while since I've seen it).

  • I was at that show. It was mad

  • Kiss is awesome

  • No you didin't.

  • who are you to say that?

  • i saw this concert it was great

  • Love the double bass sound on this song by Eric C...also live the Eric Singer double bass on Alive III.

  • Love the way paul sings this live version .the first time i ever heard this song was watching this video. when i heard it recorded i was a little disappointed ..i got over it

  • know beats kiss thats that.

  • eric carr best god damm drummer the world has ever seen rip mate

  • That audio answer sounds good to me (no pun) I thought it may have been mix of soundboard and PA on timecoded raw footage.

  • Is it me, or does anyone else notice the double tracked lead vocal????

  • not a sound expert, but i think this is raw fottage (see timecode) and the mix is from both soundboard and PA because it was large outdoor venue.

  • Actually the wireless guitars started in 1977 on the love gun tour.

Im getting this on dvd its going to be awesome.

  • Jst to clarify dating for all. KISS "wireless" started for the Buffalo and Syracuse shows in Dec 76. Ace was electrocuted in FLA. 12/12/76. AP article out of New York reads 'A few days later, KISS flew to NY where they purchased $25,000 in "radio microphones" --making their guitars shock-proof

  • OK buddy They Upgraded to a complete wireless system For The Love Gun tour.

  • Yeah ever since Ace got electrocuted

  • ace got electrocuted??!

  • yeah December 12 1976 Lakeland, Florida during the into of DRC he touched a railing that wasn't properly grounded and back then they wern't using wireless guitars so he got zapped pretty damn good

  • KISS are 2nd to none. There will never be another KISS.They were always underrated due to theatrics, but they are no less musical than AC/DC, Sabbath or Ted Nugent, not to mention how many bands that KISS influenced. As a matter of fact, How many bands do you know that could do songs like "I was made for loving you"( love it or hate it) and "GOD of Thunder", and have hits with them both?!They had and have something very special.

  • were wireless guitars around back in 1980,didn't know that

  • wireless came out about '76. KISS started using them in late 76 after Ace got electrocuted grabbing a rail on the Destroyer set during DRC in Lakeland Fla

  • whats with the capes ???

  • Disco and glam fashion was really big from about 1977-82 thats why KISS' costumes are huge, glitter, and capes.

  • i don't really like the way paul sing, more melodic than the version but fucking rocks anyway!

  • kiss rocks period

  • Eric Carr was the best drummer of all time. His drum solos was over the top X 500, and he just became better and better untill he passed away in 91.

  • its great see that u ppl enjoy see Eric Carr as much as i do. the compliments are wonderful. its sad that Gene and Paul werent on the Tale of the Fox, which is about Eric. Thanks to Bruce Kulick for puttin it out so the fans could see who he really was.

  • yea he does sing this version better than any from what i heard in the past

  • This was Eric Carr`s first tour, and he was a perfect choice for Kiss.

  • its cool that eric carr is with the band on the video!:) like him

  • Great vid. Full costumes AND with Eric on drums. Killer!

  • killer eh? more like lame try the misfits

  • Still great to see ERIC!

  • Looks good until you realize that the audio and video don't line up.

  • The audio never lines up with video in flash, it's not embedded.

  • It's not a Flash problem; it's the way it was recorded originally. This was shot in Sydney Australia on Nov 22, 1980 at the old Football Stadium (now Fox Studios). What you're watching is the footage mixed with one of the camera mics -- not the actual mixed audio. How do I know? I worked for the company that shot the concert and have the original on 1" videotape. ;)

  • good enough answer for me, thanks! Love how Paul belts out this version.
