@GiantPantherTX Dude, Scarlett was never Duke's girlfriend in the first place. She's been romantically involved with Snake Eyes in the comics for 25 years, from the very beginning. The thing with Duke in the cartoons was the result of lazy 80's cartoonists who didn't want to work around Snake Eyes' inability to talk. That's one reason why Duke eventually started flirting with Covergirl in the cartoons, and Scarlett and Snake Eyes both got phased out halfway through the cartoon series.

@TheTWDiBenedetto I know exactly what you mean. And since you mentioned it, Larry Hama is back writing GI JOE for IDW comics! He's running a new series that picks up right where his original Marvel continuity left off in 1995, making the Image/Devil's Due continuity now an alternate one. Hama is back, and so is GI JOE! Hopefully the GI JOE sequel is better than the first movie and tries to be closer to the comics.

They felt like they were the most REAL. And I'd like them to just all together remake the whole movie series... I wanna see a GI Joe movie thats kinda like the James Bond movies,Bourne series, Black Hawk Down, and Indiana jones put together with GI Joe's Hama story line.

I'm not talking about the current IDW GI JOE reboot by Chuck Dixon which launched two years ago -- which really sucks, btw -- I'm talking the brand new IDW title which started a few months ago and is written by Hama himself! It picks up where the Marvel title left off, only Cobra has become a US peacekeeping force and the members of the now disbanded GI JOE team are all on the run from the government. You can look it up on google if you want.

@44excalibur As a movie it'd incorporate a some what "Realistic" War Drama, Have the classic villains and advanced tech, and a sense of GI Joe's movie serial feel that it has. Its harder to explain than what I'm trying to get across but you know what I mean. I like to believe that this organization could and does exist... Everything should be probable!!! Thats tha word!
