we solo healed it once by accident, our disc priest and warlock (whom are married) both lost connection, so we managed to get "i've gone and made a mess" with 2 tanks, a resto shammy, a hunter, a shadow priest, a rogue (myself), a ret pally and an unholy dk. honestly, it's not too hard

I solo healed this on Khadgar with my Shaman Silverstorm, the first attempt we did I got the Mark first, we wiped at about 5%. Second attempt we nuked him down before the first mark :D Big shout out to DarkAsylum for that one!!

We had a Pally healer solo this before, and we were carrying a 2900 Addon Gear score warrior through this..honestly it's not that hard, just don't be bad and and long as range knows how to kite it's easy..

Lol. Its a holy pally. Solo healing it is so easy. If for some reason your DPS is dumb and cant down him before first mark its a tank & spank with a minor DoT that he places randomly

GJ for the healer and congrats, but 'solo healed' is a bit of an exagerration since you did have a shadowpriest using VE doing a very reasonable constant healing. That doesn't take away from the achievement of it, don't get me wrong, but i'm just saying that you were doing a reasonable amount of constant healing throughout the fight...

Nice, props to the healer. I was in a PuG on my server (Quel'Dorei) and we did this fight with two healers (Holy Priest [me] and Disc Priest). The entire fight I was DPSing. Once we killed him we noticed not one person got Mark of the Fallen Champion. We were cracking up! Good Video. :D

On 25, this guy is tough. Once you get about 5 marks (or more) and he hits 30%... he was shooting one off every about ten seconds basically.

This video is from the first week ICC went live, and it was also our first attempt on the boss. We mostly lucked in to it, taking a gamble on single healing it.

Grim's a great healer and could handle it fairly well. I've seen others solo heal this as well, it's starting to become more common.

It seems that we're getting hit a lot, but really, we only got 2-3 marks aswell, I mean, we did get the achievement after all.

My dps was shit, comparing this fight to others, but it's to be expected.

@Saeris i know its late on the uptake but i agree with ya, casters TEND to do slightly less because of the target switching while melee can /afk attack him, but with the huge buff that is really un needed imo its barely an issue right now

@BluePaIadin you have to remember that as long as no one gets hit by blood beasts, and only 1 mark is allowed to go out, a paladin healer is all you really need. Sure boiling blood might throw in a little bit of a challenge, but as long as the paladin healer keeps beacon up it's cake.

I had someone join or guild and our first time taking him into icc he proceeded to say that our dps was to low to get to this guy and down him. well long story short... we downed everything 1 shotted two bosses. alot of ppl on youtube like to say how other people dps is to low and blah blah. but have nothing to back it up and alot of times have never really down the boss their self that why they give random guild names with no server name or the toon they did it on at all. keep up the good work

my guild tried this boss 5 or 6 times and kept wiping. we tried every strat, but nothing worked. so after watching this video, i got ballsy, and decided to try and solo heal it as well... and it worked! the boss only got one Mark off before he died so we got the achievement too
