Oh, how embarrassing. These folks had nothing better to do than to come stomp on other people seeking normalcy as human beings? The marriage rights sought have nothing to do with your precious invisible man, and everything to do with my friends being allowed to have what my wife and I have. Your invisible man has no say in what my government does...if you want him to, pay taxes.
These people picketing are so misguided. They are the same people who had to fight for their own rights...and we helped them get them. They, too were vilified by people drawing verses from the Bible. I am doing all I can for the passage of marriage equality in New York, but I am doing so in a dignified manner.
it's pretty ironic and sad that alot of the protesters in the video are african american. And that the same book they're using to justify this hate was used to justify owning their ancestors as slaves and not allowing THEM to marry a person of another race.
The "God Says No!" chanting at the end bothered me a bit, but otherwise I don't see the big deal. Marriage has nothing to do with "rights" or "equality" so if people want the institution of marriage to remain defined as one man and one woman, they have every right to campaign for that.
@trevorino91 But America has everything to do with rights and equality. If marriage wasn't a government thing then yes they would have a right. But since the government regulates marriage then all Americans should have the right to marry.
Well if we are going to make gay marriage illegal, lets make the following illegal: Eating Pork ,Piercings and Tattoos, Divorce (if spouse doesn't die) ,Adultery (whether or not you get caught), Disobeying Parents, Lying in general, Working on the Sabbath Day, Atheism ,Idolizing Humans ,Coveting your neighbors lifestyle and wife (Jealousy) ....oops! Did i just use ::cough:: facts?
I can't even begin to explain how disgusted it makes me that people feel it's okay to discriminate against gays for wanting the same rights as them. I hope the bill passes but even if it doesn't it's only a matter of time before it does.
This makes me very sad and disappointed in my fellow humans... We will never know to appreciate and respect each other despite our differences, huh? When God gave us free will and wanted us to be happy, I don't think this is what he meant.... =(
This video made me sick to my stomach, I just don't understand how people can do something like this.

Tax the church for injecting itself into political issues. These freaks will NOT impose their fictional god on me without consequences.

How is it that people think that another person's sexual behavior is any of their business?
