They say I'm a catholic, but I personally believe in God and jesus. Somehow I don't feel that i fully believe in them? that they're not a huge part of my life? can anyone help?
I've said it numerous times before but i'll say it again I had 3 seizures 2 of them in over a month & i'm still alive today. Thank You Lord Almighty !

The fact that God gave her the strength to live through the abuse is proof that God was there, and helped her through the entire thing.

Man dies because thats the wages of sin. We choose death but God wants life for us. To die is gain, not loss because then we will get to be with God forever. The Bible says this but it also says that its better to live because then we can still do God's work. Everyone dies because we are sinners & that is the penalty for sin, death. Jesus is God. I was talking about dying spiritually. Because of sin, we have to die physically, that is the punishment. However, we don't have to go to Hell afterward because God saved us from that fate by His sacrificial death. He didn't have to die, He chose to be a perfect sacrifice to forgive us of our sins even when we were still sinners. We reject Him & He still wants us to come to Him. Not always the case, I'm afraid. Someone I know is a devoted Christian and has given her life to God, but she found out she has Cancer. She hasn't rejected God, yet this evil thing has happened to her.

This life is not all there is. Some people have a great life now, but will be snatched into the eternal flames of hell itself after they die because they put their love in their possesions and not in God. Then there are those who have awful lives now but will spend eternity in heaven with God where everything is perfect and pain is gone because they put their hope and trust in Jesus Christ and that's all they lived for.
But also....... People can have great lives here and still come to Heaven...... ? Almost sounds like you mean people with good lives can't come to Heaven...... =P
Notice that I said "some people". I know that people can have great lives here on this earth and also in the life to come. Didn't mean to sound confusing.
This song fits two types of people; those who hurt themselves intentionally and those who are struggling with addictions; and I'm both people. This song just blew me away. It knocked me off my feet. It just sums me up COMPLETELY!
May God be with you as you struggle! I hope that you are able, through God, to give up your addictions and harm. I hope you have a church or a youth group that can help you!

The Bible says this but it also says that its better to live because then we can still do God's work. Everyone dies because we are sinners & that is the penalty for sin, death. Jesus and God are one in the same. "In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God." God is the father, the son, and the holy spirit, so yes God did die for us. The holy trinity is the single hardest thing for most people to comprehend.

Jesus is God. I was talking about dying spiritually. Because of sin, we have to die physically, that is the punishment. However, we don't have to go to Hell afterward because God saved us from that fate by His sacrificial death. He didn't have to die, He chose to be a perfect sacrifice to forgive us of our sins even when we were still sinners. We reject Him & He still wants us to come to Him. I don't see how you think that isn't mercy. (My tone isn't an angry one, I'm just itelling u about God.)

Yeah, my understanding was that many other cultures [especially Islamic ones] only know of America as a "Christian" nation, not as a "melting pot" of religions, agnosticism, and atheism. While debatable, I think we were at least /founded/ on Christian morals; however, separation of church and state is still important [I just wish people from either side wouldn't take it "overboard", so to speak].

This life is not all there is. Some people have a great life now, but will be snatched into the eternal flames of hell itself after they die because they put their love in their possesions and not in God. Then there are those who have awful lives now but will spend eternity in heaven with God where everything is perfect and pain is gone because they put their hope and trust in Jesus Christ and that's all they lived for.

i have made big mistakes in my life. and it is nice to see that other people have turned to God as well. i have just recently found God. and this song i could relate to as well. Kepp beleiveing and staying strong
