The 594 solar panels came from SolarWorld in Hillsboro; the inverters came from PV Powered in Bend; and the design and installation were performed by Oregonians. The energy produced offsets over 1/3 of the electricity consumed at the site. The project is owned by the utility serving the area. Using state and federal tax credits, early depreciation and renewable energy grants, the project will be fully funded in 60 months.
