@deadlover73 Thanks. I agree, Allen's book is certainly a must. Lots of great info in there. From basic/fundamental stuff to more advanced territory (w/patch examples of course). Some of those patches are lots of fun. Enjoy it!
Thanks rezzn8r. Yeah, out of all of the SOU "inspired" modules out there, I'd say that the Woggle has definitely gotten the _closest_ to the organic randomness of the 265.
I should mention.... This is a classic patch out of Allen Strange's seminal book; "Electronic Music". The example in the book uses a Buchla 265 Source of Uncertainty where I use the Wogglebug.
Yes, the Model 13 is very organic and can be plucky if you want it to be. I have a Model 24 as well. Very similar to the Woggle but like you said; different. They both aim at doing the same thing but still have their own vibe.
Every demo of Plan B kit I've heard amazes me. I've never heard synthesis quite like it. These sounds are eerily similar to an acoustic plucked string sound.
I hope it rocks, i can't wait to do band and highpass with resonance in the mix, sweeps and mean leads that cut, not get lost like my all the VA bs i've used..
Yeah i want to make psy with aggression. i got em with the frequensteiner, doepfer envs and lfos mixer, vca, phaser, and 188-1. i hope it rocks. my first venture into the modular domain. i really cant wait to do high pass and bandpass filter sweeps and leads with aggression and presence, nothing any VA could ever give me, it drove me nuts..
Great video, just got a copy of Allen's book, its a must for any modular / synth head. Cant wait to try some of the patches from it.

Damn I love the Model 13 gate! Sounds so organic and plucky! The wogglebug is pretty cool, sorta like my Model 24, but different.

A classic Buchla patch without the Buchla! The smooth CV is one of the best inventions yet in electronic music. Good work!
