No its normal the notes are out of time. He recorded it on the computer to then put it along with the video: this way you get the best quality sound possible (much better than if you just stick a camera next to the piano)

I went to see Einaudi play live at the Warwick arts centre in Coventry, it was awsome because he signed my copy of his new album nightbook he also played 4 more pieces after the show because he was encored for ages =], it was awsome =]

i can play this, and i gotta say while it's not too difficult to learn, it's hard to keep the notes in time with each other, and this video clearly shows that smokeyjoe can do this well. that obviously comes with practise, it's very good. also, reading below, i agree that it is NOT a dub. it is different to the original music, still good though.

Run this through Shazam on your iPhone. It scans the music and compares it to pre-recorded music. It will tell you that this is a recording of LUDOVICO EINUDI. There is no debate!

shazam recognises certain patterns and melodies that it auto assigns to music and brings back results based on what it thinks it is. it is often very correct. why don't you STOP using your technology and just LISTEN to each version of the song. you'll note the use of chords at the end of the third phrases rather than notes as used in the original recording and composition. please, stop being so musically retarded and just listen to the facts.

No he hasn't, you can HEAR the mistakes (however little they are) and the ways he plays it different, for example, on the third idea of the piece, playing from the top D in the right and the low D, he plays the last notes in a chord rather than single notes like einaudi. there is also no final chord on the piece, yet this person plays one. it is NOT a dub!

No it doesn't have full 8 and 1/4 octaves because it's an entertainment keyboard so it's only got 61 keys or 5 octaves.

and another point dont bother saying its just out of sync because you could use that excuse if it was even in time but your playing and one speed and the sound is playing at another speed

example

whe you press A the song plays A

4 seconds later the song plays A again and another 1 second later you play A

if your going to pretend then atleast do it in time :/

Im not sure what grade it would be but it is a pretty comlicated piece as so many of the left hands runs san well over an octavwe and move about so much. That said it is so beautiful it would be well worth all the extra practise it would require!! I learnt to play grade 5 pieces and I think this is harder than many of them!
