I rewatched the first fight the other night and i had forgotten how hard ortiz got knocked down in the 6th and i thought how the fuck did he get up for that but not from mayweathers 1-2.... made me think even more that he was looking for a way out of that fight, headbutt, lie down, hope for a DQ
Berto wants to do some serious damage in this fight. He wants revenge. I'll be rooting for him. Mainly because of, as you said, the headbutt Ortiz did and the way he conducted himself after the Mayweather fight. All smiles and after parties! A man who came to win would of been totally gutted. It just seemed he was satisfied with the pay check and the attention, nothing else.
i dunno if you guys know this but Berto is the fav in this fight, not only that but ive been keepin up with Berto and hes gotten fucking huge which is a very bad thing in boxing cause it really effects your stamina and slow you down. Slam your money on Ortiz , Berto will not last the whole 12 rounds i gurantee it!
ortiz has better chin, better balance, better technique overall, possibly physically stronger,& better on the inside
berto has faster hands,is stronger mentally,& much better from long range
ortiz cant really do anything different from the first fight,if he tries to box more like he did in the first 2 rounds vs floyd that will work in berto's favour,& berto should be looking to box in this fight, stay on the outside & use alot of movement & quick counters
I think Victor does have the better skills overall, but I also think that knowing that he really good shots from Berto and still won the first fight will be great for Victor's confidence. I also think that this fight might not be as wild as the first one because they will have more respect for each others punching power. I got Ortiz winning by decision.
it all depends on wich victor turns up but also you gotta think, did berto really turn up last time. we'll see but i fancy victor to just pull it out again.
i think berto simply underestimated ortiz and i think he will be ready this time and prepared for all of his flurrys and counter punches. im going with berto by tko
Ortiz is off key man and so is his team especially his manager (hes a prick). I hope Berto wins and I'm going for Berto but he has to knock him out cos I doubt he could win a decision cos Ortiz work rate is better. Hope he stops him in the 9th round
Berto was dehydrated the first fight, was hospilized after fight because it was that bad. which would cause him to fatigue quicker, expect Berto to come in beast mode this time, Ortiz is still getting over the ravers comedown back when he was flat out on xtc, drug test this time so not as many magic potions, when he feels bertos extra strength and power, Berto will either ko him, or he will be stopped against the ropes by ref, in 6th round last fight dehydrated berto almost stopped ortiz,
agreed berto does seem to be the faster of the two ... had the same discussion with someone earlier today who thought ortiz may have had the edge in terms of speed
I actually have over 2,000+ fights cause I do record them in CD's an organized them as well it would be a waste of time at this late at night, for me to try to convince a FLOMO it will make me look like an idiot as if I had to look for something I have & already watched a lot,to say that u gave me some doubts.i know what I saw & prove I have unlike u without searching the internet.that was like telling me to find the Hatton fight and check whether Floyd used his elbows & harms to hit
@pacu47 I know how bad Floyd can be with that elbow but he wasnt using it like that AT ALL in the Ortiz fight. Don't make stuff up man. Ortiz first said it was an accident the headbutt, then it was on purpose. Lets be grown honest and have real factual boxing please bro.
So we can all win & learn from each others cause their isn't many people who can find out the real version of the info & then end up with a fake info when they didn't have to,Floyd started cheating their is prove of it,isn't like if Floyd was as good as Hopkins covering dirty tactics Hopkins is a professional when it comes down to that & he still get calls for it,but guess what Hopkins ain't making the kind of money Floyd is making enough reason 2 let it slip
Agree with you, the Ortiz headbutt really put me off Victor. It's still shocking to watch.
IMO, Berto has to hope that Ortiz is in a mentally weak place coming into the fight, because I feel he is the technically more sound fighter. I think Berto will be trying to fight a counterpunch style in the rematch, looking for straight right leads, but I can see him allowing himself to get pushed back to the ropes and eating uppercuts from Victor.
So Ortiz pointed out that if the ref ain't gonna take action I'll take action myself before I'll end up blind from head butts.finish the info cause u just sound it like a Mexican Chanel giving news about boxing in which no matter what they'll try to look just for a FEW FACTS to make their opinion sound good for their own benefit cause we all know Manny is the Mexican killer so they barely like him.give us the OVERALL FULL FACT OF THE INFO NOT JUST A FEW FROM
Be real men,U threw and info about Ortiz saying that he admitted it that he head butt it on purpose but didn't quiet finished the entire info, which I have the vid and Ortiz says that BEFORE THAT HEAD BUTT EVEN TOOK PLEASE IN HIS MIND HE WAS GETTING HIT WITH THE ELBOWS THAT FLOYD DELIVERED YES DELIVERED CAUSE IF U TAKE A LOOK CLOSER HE BASICALLY SHOOTS IT AT HIS OPPONENTS,Ortiz even says that he warned the ref about the issue but he didn't do anything about it FACT
@pacu47 There's a video debunking that claim from Ortiz, I'll try and find the link for you. It shows everytime Ortiz interacted with the ref. It shows each warning Ortiz was given from headbutts, starting in the 1st round. It shows how the elbow never connected with Ortiz at any point during the fight.
If you actually watch the bout carefully, the "14 elbows" Ortiz talks about, simply don't exist. I mean, if you can find any yourself, please let us know the round / time it happens.

Al Haymon has this one, Berto is much too cocky as of late for no reason. Yeah I'm saying Berto has this match won, rigged by Al Haymon.

Thanks, Wingy. Difficult to call this one. Who knows where Ortiz's head is at. Definitely worth getting up/staying up for.

Top vid wingy. Agreed, Ortiz is a loose cannon. He's waiting to fill Mayorgas shoes.
