The special effects make me really appreciate the original Star Trek - and that was multiple decades before this. Plus there's Kane from Buck Rogers. Was he a 'default bad guy' back then, or what?
The music is weird.I saw the twins in a love boat episode "but i suppose they had plastic surgery recently because i saw pictures of them. They're too perfect.Look like barbie dolls. This show had to be great and exciting in the late seventies. The special effects were good but now they are out of fashion.
I remember not being allowed to stay-up to watch this show. My dad said, "You can watch the re-runs." Yah. Right. Reruns. Now I have to shell-out fifty bucks for the DVD 30 years later. Thanks, Dad.
This was a great show in '77 that only went about 8 episodes. As I recall, it was a "Summer Replacement" series that never got picked up. I absolutely loved this show.

@ricardoalarumi yeah it is an overlooked classic. I got the DVD. It's low-budget, granted, and not raunchy like today's comedies, buy hey, it was fun enough.
was this show trying to be funny becuase it is not even slightly amusing.

The Barnstable twins live in Louisville. My wife works with a guy who went to school with them both.

@timtyler2010 They both look like Dee from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

This show reminds me of a later Sci-Fi comedy classic "RED DWARF".
