I bought a 1997 Z3 last year with low miles on it and it is really fun to drive. If you can get one it is really worth it since BMW stopped production on this car. The body style is also classic, I like better than the Z4's.

Wow! In USA it can be worth buying it so cheap because of your strict speed limits that means a still fairly good engine and g.box even if buying high mileage cars.

In Europe it's hard finding a low mileage

M roadster and it would cost at least $20000

in mint cond.- but must avoid high mileage cars because of highly stressed mech.,being limits less restrictive...eventhough BMW mech is relyable ,you'd be soon wasting money=

it might be worth repairing this car! it has iron block that you can overbore. bmw does not want you to install new valve guides but that is doable. as for suspension, everything is cheap, i.e., balljoints rubber mounts and those are replaceable because this car does not have alum arms yet. Gerabox is ZF 5speed that comes on any 328.
