this is how you use it

when your game is loading, and your family comes up with the play button and all that, etc. (aka, the main menu), you then type in the cheat bar...... oops, this is awkward, I forgot the cheat... one second, I will get back to you, lemme look it up

then you enter the cheat, click the play button to play with your family, then when the game is loaded,

go to the treasure chest in the bottom right corner that is for the lifetime happiness, then click around the box (sometimes you can click around the box, or the chest, you will know what box I mean whn you get there), then, you have to click over and over again repeatedly, do not hold the mouse

once i activate the code TestingCheatsEnabled True its clear that i can do all those cool cheats...

but i'm wondering, do i have to press Shift + drag the needs bars, or just drag the need bars with my mouse without pressing any other thing on the keyboard? i really wonder that. God bless.

Spaces in cheats are false cheats.

The cheat system only looks at the first word.

shazaaam doesnt work. what you do is when you get on to the page where a you select your family get cheats console up and type in 'testingcheatsenabled on' in. then go onto your family get the liftime points up and go JUST under the tresure cheats and click on shift and keep on clicking the left side button on your mouse til you get all the points you whant

Wow, lol look at these comments.

Shazaam does work but not when you type it in the cheat box. It has another video, if you search it up, and it shows you how. It worked for me.

Here's a link which shows you how to work Shazaam. Trust me, it worked for me and now my sims have a lot of lifetime points!

Type in the search box "sims 3 shazaam cheat" Click on the video by "jconk777".

P.S If it doesn't work, you just got to keep trying. I got frustrated first when I couldn't do it but eventually I did and now my sims are happy! =)

@kellyberger1969 Did you capitalize the second H & E? Sometimes that might be the problem... try typing: hideHeadlineEffects On

If it doesn't work then it could be that the cheat doesn't work anymore. Some cheats, for some people don't work. It's happened to me before and sometimes, you just can't do anything about it. I hope it helps, if not, I am truly sorry.

@BadluckittyGR type this cheat when you are in the place that you improve a city with houses and so on. Type it before selecting a family and then move the family you want.

Shazaam now works.When you pick a family wait and open the cheat box and type in this "testingcheatsenabled on" instead of true.Pick a family and then pick any sim and click they're lifetime happieness page and hold down ctrl and click rapidly under the box.It gives you 500 every time you click!Hope I helped you all out!!!☺☺

Once either of those is entered, and you find the sim you want to add, you:

Hold 'shift' and click on the sim you want to add. There you will see 'Add to Active Family', you click it and the sim is now added.

@stefaniebal1955 first of all your sim has to be in your household. Press ctrl+c+shift and type testingcheatsenabled true. Press enter. Control the sim that his traits you want to modify. Click and SHIFT on him. You can grow him up, delete him AND modify traits. Hope this helps my friend.:)

i had the same problem. type in:

testingcheatsenabled on

(exactly how i spelled it. yes with a space between the words) then SHIFT click your baby and click Trigger Age Transition.

Click on your toddler's picture on the side, and cluck the dresser and click plan outfit.

save changes and your done!
