i have a question im leaving toronto pearson international from terminal 1 to raleigh durham north carolina which level in the airport do i have to check in at because its a international flight.??
I flew Jazz out of Toronto, and believe me never again. Ill tell you this much Westjet is the perfect Airline. They treat you like a human being, thier staff is congenial and your luggage is looked after. The other Airline is so incompetent they wont even land in Thunder Bay if there is a 1/2 inch of snow on the runway within the last 24 hours.
Thats Bullshit, Air regulation safety and transport board rules are all the same in Canada. No one makes up thier own safety rules. The pilot has the right personally to make a decision regarding
the safety of the landing, provided it falls within the guidelines of
common sense. If all airline pilots refused to land on a runway with a 1/2 inch of snow in Canada they would spend 70% of thier time at home looking after Momma and drinking Beer.
Wow easy mate, I'm talking after MY experience in MY country. for example: here if the authorities set a minimum horizontal vsibilty of 2.500m to operate from a given airport, each airline can choose to raise the limit in order to be "safer" (like 3.000m for eg.) . They don't make up their own safety rules, they just restrict a bit more their operations.
Air Canada is the international larger airline, running aircraft between ERJ 175's to Boeing 777's. They do the major routes in Canada, United States and Around The World.
Jazz is the internation Regional Airlines, that does smaller destinations only in Canada and the United States. Jazz serves smaller routes and runs smaller planes, anything from the Dash 8-100 all the way up the the CRJ-705.
jazz is the biggest regional air line in the world.

That's because they have different safety regulations, its not incompetence
