@thefreeflowification: various episodes, mostly season 4 clips of the White Stars, season 5 of the Centauri cruisers, the sequence of shots towards the end includes clips from "Call to Arms", more season 5, and the Earth cruiser going after a Drakh ship is a shot from the Crusade premiere. All shots of the station behind the characters come from "The Lost Tales", and I even threw in a shot of the Valen, from "Legends of the Rangers"
Actually thats not a bad vid that.. Nice one. I felt like a torch was being passed in Objects at rest when there was the shot of the new command staff. And this intro is nice well done
I've been screaming this to all I can. We know the "last best hope" for the continuation of JMS's work is via the Crusade series. We really need to get a facebook page/ letter writing campaign going to bring back Crusade. If SyFy can re-do Galactica, why can't they do Crusade. The show wasn't so far along, where they can't recast and start the series anew, and finish the great work of JMS.

Um, SyFy didn't re - do Galactica, it was MCA - Universal. & when SyFy became SyFy ( Reality show crap & wrestling ), one of the 1st series to get the axe was the BSG prequel / spin - off " Caprica ". The TV medium isn't very kind to science fiction, even a channel that was supposedly devoted to sci - fi, fantasy, & horror / supernatural.
Still, I'd like to see a 2nd chance for Crusade. & MAYBE Caprica.
When you think about it, as crappy of a product that SyFy puts out (sub-B Saturday night originals), there's no way they could've in their wildest dreams produced Galactica. And it was a shame about Caprica too.

Joshua Cox as Executive Officer David Corwin, this I think would of been the most challenging aspect of the new series. Corwin as a character never seemed to me to be very fleshed out. He was very loyal to the crew but really didn't seem to have much in the way of character building going on. Although its been a while since I have watch all of B5, so maybe I missed something.
@Jokie155 First off, she didn't kill Marcus. Marcus sacrificed his life so Ivanova could live. Secondly, you seem to be saying that Marcus' death was a GOOD thing? Marcus was one of the best characters in the show. Thirdly, Ivanova would probably return to the station when she bought her ship in for resupply (If you remember it says that Ivanova took command of a new warlock destroyer after Marcus died), but she probably wouldn't stay.
I have to agree with Stigmon, though. Londo Mollari and G'Kar set an impossibly high standard, as did Sheridan, Ivanova, Garibaldi, Delenn, et al ... but your Season Six opener is beautifully done!
Nice job. It would have been great if they did a sixth season with this crew. Although, since part of the greatness of the show was the magic between G'kar and Londo, I don't think Vir and Ta'Lon could have brought the same intensity since G'kar and Londo were such bastards toward each other.
The new series would have had to have new conflicts. Vir v. Ta'lon wouldn't be logical successors to Londo v. G'Kar.
Corwin's character could fill out. Ivanova could fly through in her Warlock-class destroyer. Crusade's longer story could be re-centred at the station with a new on-going role in helping uncover black projects etc. But JMS would still want an arc to follow -- and that would be a pre-requisite. Coriana 6 changed everything B4/B5 was for.
I really really wish B5 would return with season 6, but only if they have a great long story arch again.

Im almost sure that ma mrs is buying me the Babylon 5 seasons for xmas...
2nd hand...they are quite affordable these days
(try CEX trade shops) there around £5-£10 per box set now :D
and though iv been with her for 3yrs this xmas....i fear she has NO IDEA what shes getting herself into by finally buying them for me :D
