If Jesus walked on water then he could ride on a cloud, anyway His body was transfigured so He may not have the mass of a mere mortal. The Bible has NOT changed barely at all, which was verified by the Dead Sea scrolls, however the NIV translation and some other modern translations have been slightly altered.

@subliminalaustralia Well we Christians do not believe the Bible is the work of man alone but is inspired by God himself, you should know that the Bible is made up of 66 seperate books by many different authors yet science itself admitts that it appears to have been written by the same author or at least "under the same spirit". But in the papacy's defense I will say that you are wrong about them "not donating any of their own money", they do open up countless hospitals, schools, hospices and provide many community services. Whereever there is more than one Christian together there is Christ and there is the church.

@subliminalaustralia Funny how you people only quote the Old Testament, that is the religion of the JEWS, the Christian faith and what Christians believe can only be fully understand when the WHOLE BIBLE is taken into context and the New Testament is taken into account. Also keep in mind that the reasons God made those commands was ultimately for the salvation of the whole world, and if you only knew what those heathen nations were up to (i.e. child sacrifice, satanism, incest etc.)

@subliminalaustralia It is not a tenent of the Christian faith to "seek others to dictate how we live our lives", the only one we seek and the only one we want to "dictate how we live our lives" is the Almighty Creator himself, and none of us "whether or not we believe" is beyond is power in our lives. Atheism is most certainly a religion and like religion it requires a "leap of faith" to believe in it, the more intellectually honest approach that doesn't require a leap of faith is agnosticism.

Of course the idea that the God of the Bible is the designer is something on take on FAITH, the Bible is all about faith and I believe it on faith (that doesn't mean there arent secular truths that point to its accuracy as well though).
