@MrThembones Your opinion. I gotta say though; the songwriting is good on both ends and the singers (as well as the rest of the band) are also very talented. The fact is that the musicians in Halestorm and Paramore are in fact, talented and good at what they do. The opinions can be judged upon what sound they are making as talented, musical individuals. The song writing too, can be judged. Frankly, I like the songwriting of both bands. They don't come close to my favorite band, Led Zeppelin.

Lizzy- Very durable voice and has immense controller power. Lacks upper register. Lizzy's highest note is like a G5 or something around there.
Hailey- Very nice range with good power to back it up. Voice is prone to cracking and going out of tone for split seconds. At risk of voice being blown. Range is 3 octaves and 3 notes. Falsetto is a whistle note A#5 or a C#6 I honestly forget.

I don't usually like listening to live versions of songs, but I REALLY like the live version of this song. It let's her amazing voice come through. Anymore a lot of artist have synthesizers added to their voices, and they need it because otherwise their voices don't sound quite on pitch.

The acoustic versions of all the halestorm music really is more passionate, the guitars are also as smokin as the vocals all stripped down to the basic music.. excellence is all over it.
she has a great voice. The true test of any vocalist is how they sound live. Live she sounds awesome! She reminds me of Nancy Wilson from heart. Great range!

I've actually had the pleasure of meeting Halestorm on two occasions! You are absolutely right they are all down to earth and friendly, they always introduce themselves to you and will sit and chat. I talked to Arejay and Joe at least for 10 or 15 mins each time. These guys deserve all the success in the world. I first seen them 6 years ago as an opener for Shinedown and Trapt and was hooked right away. i can at least say I held her hand as she sang to me at a show, eat your heart out fellas!
Ya know, there's a difference in playing a song that's meant for electric equipment acoustically (make sense?) and adapting an electric song for acoustic. Any band that can do the latter of the two, is good.
dude, Lzzy is hot as hell, can play guitar, Halestorm has a great sound, she has awesome taste in music, and even though her music is so *badass* from what I've heard she's a sweetheart and pretty chill in person, also can be one of the guys. Hopefully I can speak for other guys by saying we need more girls like this in the world. She's pretty much perfect.

This version really makes her amazing voice more evident. I'm not saying it sounds like she can't sing in the other one, but this one is just guitars, a drum, and her voice.. nothing else added in. And she sounds incredible.

This version really makes her amazing voice more evident. I'm not saying it sounds like she can't sing in the other one, but this one is just guitars, a drum, and her voice.. nothing else added in. And she sounds incredible.

@softballgrl4evr I know what you mean. I tend to focus on guitar and vocals in bands, and I love the studio version, but when you tone down the guitar a bit... you emphasize the vocals more. :)

She have a beautiful voice, I honestly prefer this version over the original because shes not quite screaming and it really brings her voice out, the band did a great job, especially on the outro... and I laughed so hard at 3:46

Her voice is so powerful. It's great to hear this done acoustically so I know its not all sound engineered crap. I am truly impressed. Plus she's hot as hell, so yeah, she's got the world in front of her

I try to stay open-minded about music, sometimes that doesn't work too well cuz I look for talent..haha. Musicians like Halestorm are a gem to find these days imho. sucks when people are that close-minded.
