I learned this from scratch last week and the only parts that seem to be eluding me are the endings of the phrases. Particularly 0.38-0.40 from this video. I can't seem to make it flow, especially the way Jeff Kershner does it. What I'm seeing on tab and what I'm seeing and hearing being played just aren't meshing together in my brain. I have to hit that part hard now to get the flow.
LOL!!!! I love that ending!! I've been at that sh*t for two weeks now and it's still absolute hell.... atleast you can play it up to full speed tho. accuracy will come. I have faith in ya if you've gotten that far in only three weeks (if you watch my fisherman vid, that took me 4 months, and It's still not close to flawless.....)
I learned this from a transcription in one of the Chet Atkins in Three Dimensions books. It's tricky, just take it slowly and get all the hammer-ons right.
Thanks man. I just downloaded a .TEF file for the "Breakdown"(now I know why it has that title,LOL) and hopefully it'll clear up those little details that can FLY by when played in normal speed. That Jerry Reed was such a master.
hilfe. dass sich finger überhaupt so schnell bewegen können - wahnsinn! vor allem ist jeder ton absolut klar dabei. mehr als nur eindrucksvoll! und dein leises seufzen am schluss ist wohl wirklich das beste ;)
good job
the rythmn / timing needs practice though

Sounds like the tones are raining down. No rythm in there : /

@freerider3434 Well, with one guitar what are you gonna do?
zacharron 6 months ago
@zacharron Yes i didnt say it was bad or something, but its also possible to stick to the rythm if u have only one guitar. ; )

That sigh at the end sums it up, not an easy piece ! I'm going to try and learn it when I get some time, I've got a tab here.
If you want to slow it down, get Sony Vegas, you can slow down video without changing audio pitch

I would not have posted that. play no other song for a year, then record your work. I mean it, a whole YEAR

Bon boulot mon gars, par contre tu gratte un peut vite et je trouve que tu n'est pas tout le temps en rythme ... ?
Bien jouer quand meme a plus !

Good job on a tough song. Need to practice slower, though. It was a little messy.

Great.
Did you get the notes from "Guitar Tab"?
This is harder than I anticipated , especially the 2 bar resolution before the bridge.
My "DGuitar" program doesn't seem to have a tempo adjustment or pause. Rrrrr.!

Thanks! I have most of it, but the "banjo" run in the first turnaround (bars 13-16 counting in quarter notes) is driving me up the wall. LOL.

Well, I hope my video helps! The view of the fretboard is about as clear as it gets. Too bad you can't slow it down though.
