He spent the bulk of his career running his record up against limited opposition and got a few signiture wins over good figthers like Rosario and Mayweather. He was a great fighter but his resume doesn't compare to guys like Sugar Ray Robinson, who at the pinnacle of his career was 121-1 with 78 ko's, and this was in the golden age when even the journeyman were good fighters. Chavez is defintely top 30 p4p but not top 15.

He spent the bulk of his career running his record up against limited opposition and got a few signiture wins over good figthers like Rosario and Mayweather. He was a great fighter but his resume doesn't compare to guys like Sugar Ray Robinson, who at the pinnacle of his career was 121-1 with 78 ko's, and this was in the golden age when even the journeyman were good fighters. Chavez is defintely top 30 p4p but not top 15.
