  • Did you also take into account that as you got smaller your body needs less fuel(calories)?

  • @Merdenoms well im still obese lolll so thats not a factor right now

  • @PlusSizeKimonica It's still a factor. Your body burns a different amount of calories as you go up or down the scale. Your BMR changes as you're dieting. Each pound lost "ideally" one's calorie allotment should be decreased by 5 calories for each pound lost. I don't know if you eat a certain amount of calories straight across or employee some other method. Either way you look great and are doing an amazing job! One question do you give yourself cheat days at all?

  • I have watched u since day one and on ready to commit. I'm starting my journey in just cutting what I eat in half I lost 20 pounds in just 12 days and I feel incredible and so self impowered and just wanted u to no u helped me sooo much :')

  • @LisaSMoscow7 thank u

  • Hi, your video just gave me some insight and hope. Right now, I'm 3**lbs and I just don't know where to begin with this. But I know taking baby steps like more water, fruits and vegetables, etc, can lead to bigger and better things in life. Thank You!

  • @LisaSMoscow7 yup take it day by day

  • KIMONICA, HEY BABE, THE SALT ON THE SEEDS PROLLY MADE YA RETAIN WATER, NOT FAT... SALT CONSUMPTION AS YOU ALREADY KNOW CAN CAUSE SWELLING AND RETENTION THUS BEING THE REASON WHY YOU SEEN SUCH A LOW FLUCTUATION ON THE SCALE.. BUT YOU ARE VERY MOTIVATIONAL TOO ME AND MANY PPL, MAD LOVE :)

  • @pausemental thank u for ur comment

  • That's kinda scarey because I've gotten a little too comfortable with the food I'm eating also this past month. I didn't really worry about it, because I was still eating healthy. You are so right though, you could be thinking you are doing well and be failing :(

  • @Givenlife23men yes it is

  • great video

  • Im glad you didnt let that gain get you down, you got back in the ring and knocked it out.

  • @hazelfreckles how u doin on ur journey

  • i gained 2 lbs, but i haven't been working out because we've been moving :'( and my fiance always works till like 9pm and im already tired by then to go to the gym :(

  • @FedUpWFat u can get tha off easily

  • Great advice, as always

  • Awesome message Kimonica! Loved it and Liked it. Salt in the sunflower seeds may have caused a little water-weight gain. I am sure you will lose it again. Your looking good girl! ~Hugs~

  • @LosingDrea thank u

  • I needed this thanks Kimonica!

  • @Blackbarbietea how are u doin on ur journey?

  • @PlusSizeKimonica Hey girl. Im actually doing well. Im just concentrating on myself right now. It took me a long time to realize it (and a LOT of denial) But the best way to lose weight is to take things one day at a time. And completely change the way you eat as a lifestyle change, not as a diet. So I don't consider myself on a diet right now. I am just eating healthy. Trying to build my will power to say no to myself. Ive been doing well and I surprise myself every day by my will power.

  • Great video!! We really appreciate you being so honest about your journey. Happy New Year.

  • @NappyBeauty ty :-)

  • Drink some more water and cut the sodium down... You'll lose alotta water weight and tighten up quicker

  • @skipcloudwalker thank u :-)

  • The key thing you said in this video is that you didn't allow the one gain to set you back! Im so proud of you!! You are doing an awesome job and I know it its NOT easy! Happy New Year Kimonica!!!

  • @creativeinspired no it is not....same 2 u hunny..and ty

  • yes when you stop or gain it plays games with your head you ought to seen me the other day i got a new scale and it is not good to me,it says i weigh 15 more than the other and i was so upset ha well lets get back to it carbs is what gets me also good luck to you and we can do this:)

  • @slimmingbeauty30 i hate new scales they are the devil loll..i would just go with my old weight no matter what the scale say..lollllll

  • Hey buddy this was a good video and it def came right on time for me . A friend told me every 21 days to change my routine . Whether that's adding more time in the gym, increasing water intake anything ! But basically just adding a new healthy change.

  • @juewelz03 thats good advice

  • When you weigh in, please tell us how tall you are as well! Thanks for the motivation!

  • @not7but7x7 i am 5/6 but i will say it in the vid as well

  • GLAD U CAUGHT IT N TIME!

  • @redy4change11 i am 2

  • are you saying that prior to this weigh-in, you had never gained while on the journey?

  • @concedenothing yes :-)

  • One moreto share-I ate salads etc before and always put some sort of dressing on it containing oil or had meat in it-had slower weight loss--its because theenzymes I was eating was metabolizing the oil, meat etc on the salad instead of my fat! When I switched to sqeezing lime or orange on my salads without the meat-man major fat burn-yay! I do still eat small amounts of lean meat but now make raw fruits and veggie the foundation (instead of bread/grains) I can't exercise right now but am losing!

  • @MsCandid1 good advice ty

  • Just another thought too-I saw "Freelea" channel on you tube and "Durian Riders" they were talking about how they lost tons of weight eating all they want but only in the form of raw fruits and vegtables (see the"I eat50 bananas a day" video--I don't think she really does eat 50 but its a must see!)I took their advice and lost 5 lbs in like 10 days and had no cravings!!My gosh my nails got strong, lips no longer chapped too! the live enzymes burn fat--more enzymes= more burn and no cal count!

  • Omgsh this just happened to me! I'm still in my size 18/20's from a size 34/36 but when I went to weigh myself I had gained 15lbs! I got accustomed to eating healthy but w/o realizing it wasn't getting enough water, fruits, veggies & really wasn't eating enough! As a result I think my body went into starvation mode! I'm now back on track...I think I need to start weighing in more often & start journaling or vlogging.

  • @classyjewel from a 36 to a 20 wooooooooooooooooooooooooow that is crazy awesome

  • great advice

  • thumbs up ^^ love your video, especial how this happens to all of us that are on a weight loss journey.

  • @prototype6x ty :-)

  • I love your positivity and how well you broke everything down. Thanks.:)

  • @mystart1 ty hunny :-)

  • @cynhotaz what are u doin?

  • 156 pounds lost is amazing! youre my inspiration!

  • @DivaSlimsDown u are awesome u are my inspiration u look so awesome it brings me to tears im so happy for u..

  • l totally understand where you are comming from-my weakness is bread so l have to consciously make a decision that l limit my bread intake to 2 to maybe 3 times a week. Cause anytime you loose your focus on the things you are eating will throw you off your game. But you noticed it and are taking control-Congratulations and Happy New Year looking forward to more of your journey!!!

  • @NYCCHOCOLATE7777 yes it is very important and ty have fun this new years

  • @solomonlebronmom u 2 hunnybuns

  • i just LOVE the way, your really into your weight-loss programme, unlike me, i just lose concentration and then just cant be bothered with it no more :/

  • @justinbiebersgurlist o no why ?

  • @PlusSizeKimonica because, whenever i work out several times and be VERY careful on my diet, i just CANNOT see a difference, in my weight :/

  • This is exactly how I felt, that I fell off the wagon and lost myself on my journey. I had to go back and think of a plan to step my game up!

  • @GuruInspirations please do... we can do it...we got this come on rock it out with us

  • Thanks for the reminder!

  • @msteacher74 your welcome

  • meal planning & balance you said the right things thats the key thanks for the helpful reminding tips :)

  • @PhasionQueen27 your welcome maam and how is ur journey going

  • Excellent message! Thanks for the pep talk...I really need it! I lost over 200 pounds with gastric bypass eight years ago. THAT was the easy part. Once in maintenance you really do have to "diet" again. I hate that carb monster...it's a sneaky thing!!

  • @lindalilacs yes it is and even tho cals are important them carbs will keep weight on u

  • Well put!! It is so important to try to figure out the cause for a gain, accept what happened, correct it, and move forward. I have friends that started this journey with me and just gave up because it was to "hard." On Christmas, I told my dad no bread, he already had Mac&cheese, red rice, and pound cake on his place!! To my surprise, he said okay and that's a start. It's starts out hard, but gets so much easier as you go along. Thanks for always being so encouraging and sharing with us.

  • @msaap that awesome....mac and cheese mmmmmmm loll...and ur welcome

  • ill be joining you soon, just in a different format :)

  • @slappinyaface i dont believe u grrrrrrr

  • Thanks for the reminder to remember what it was that got us the results in the first place...like drinking plenty of water and writing down what we eat.

  • @sking3225 your welcome :-)

  • I feel your pain!! I also had way too many carbs over this past weekend and Monday and had to snap out of it quickly. I didn't even like the way I felt after eating a heavy "carbed" meal. I also wasn't drinking enough water. This all translated into being up 3 lbs on the scale, but I knew once I drank plenty of water and went back to eating like I should, that the number would go back down and it did. However, I did not have a lose for the week because of it. I didn't like how that felt...

  • @sking3225 I kno the feeling but u caught it so thats good
