  • How thoroughly derivative can you get? The faux Philip Glass music is pretty lame and the Godfrey Reggio direction/Ron Fricke cinematography is... well... anyone heard of Koyaanisqatsi? This pairing just screams, "HEARD IT, SEEN IT!"

    The fact that so much computing iron was leveraged against this is commentary enough on our desire to use technology for the sake of the technology itself.

    As for the PR language. This illuminated man's stroll is an adventure? Is this it, or is is 1st in a series?

  • It's a viral ad for shoes. "The Generic Man" is a shoe company. I don't really understand the connection, but at least it's pretty. And Kidstreet is great. So there's that, too.

    I do hope there's a second installment, though. Most of this was just walking. But definitely a cool-looking short film.
