I had the opportunity to drive and test an AUDI R8 V8 in Malaysia recently where I took it to PROTON Styling Studio for their benchmarking. I Also Drove a Porsche 911 and Ferrari F430 for them also. I must say that Audi R8 is the most incredible car I have ever driven. no match, no rival and no car comes close. It is the best supercar ever built.

You do realize that almost 75% of the team that made the Audi R8 are working for Lamborghini, witch is also part of the VW family just as Audi is.

That's why so many people say, that the Audi R8 is a cheap man's Lambo.

Have to admit though, I like the looks of the Audi R8 better then any Lambo and I really love that sound.

Would also like to point out that most of the current lambo's are quicker then the R8. But's it's still a very nice car.

god stop comparing the r8 with the veyron, the veyron is on a complete different level, you can only compare similar things, yeah maybe both are super sport cars and both audi and bugatti belong to the volks family, but thats where the similarities end

I think 420 is more than enough. By keeping the horsepower relatively "low" for a supercar it is rather affordable compared to most other super cars in it's range.

420HP is plenty of power for daily usage on the open roads and even if you tend to use it on a track once in a while it will slaughter your enemies because of it's formidable handling and steering capabilities.
