  • If I had an Aston Martin, I'd never use public transport XD

  • No surprises considering anything that comes out of the Bombardier factory in Derby quickly breaks down (ie Victoria line and new SSL trains)

  • The train was already coupled with the one in front, ready to push. Overriding the signals to reach and couple with the broken train in front was probably the delay.

  • Should have carried on filming that guy.

  • whoa what an experience! Thats one of the new trains which have had 'teething' problems.

Its 'just typical' that this only happens to people who dont normally like the trains... and not one of the train fans who posts films here.

You did well to film it - so often the railway staff moan (or tell you to stop filming), even when nothing bad is happening.

    Simon

  • A brand new train broke down thats bad is that

  • The bus driver should have just got out and drove back!

  • @SMALTV *train, lol

  • As an underground enthusiast, it very rarely happens and I believe that you shouldn't be disconcerted by the Underground.

  • I remember reading about a recent incident where passengers got stuck on an underground train and were then made to swipe their Oyster card. Was this the same incident?

  • Why didn't they put back old stock trains normal than this. I hate this new train anyway, now see... that the point, that was a problem of new trains gone wrong!!!

  • ATO gone wrong, at least there wasn't a collision.

This has never happened to me.

  • Woohoo! 09TS cab! :P

  • Cloverfield

  • cool video! something different

  • I wouldn't let that put you off travelling on the tube

More reliable than other forms of transport.

-Most aircraft I have been on were delayed for more than 1 hour

-Cars and buses, forget about it

-My head has fallen off while I was walking MORE often than I have broken down on the tube.

Was stuck on the District line once for a couple of hours, but I have broken down more times on the Sheerness branch (twice)!

  • Strange :D

  • Whats happened with the train??

  • @CarSpotterQVS It got stuck in the tunnel between two other trains, so had nowhere to go!

  • Whats happended?

  • What does the bloke in the white shirt say about you filming?

  • @FraserLFA "You don't have to film Sir, thank you"; don't think they like things being filmed that are bad!

  • @Shmee150 Haha There's already enough video's on here of stuck underground trains :D

I don't know why he's moaning. I'd be proud of that beard if i was him.

  • @Shmee150 Erm I dont think they care if you film when things go bad just so long as they are not shown in the vid thats all.

  • You filmed the exception rather than the rule. Sorry about your experience with the tube. Mine was very good: trains on time that didn't break down.

  • @passingbynight True, I've taken the tube many, many times, just never been stuck in a tunnel for over an hour before!

  • @Shmee150 Glad it wasn't an accident and that everybody got out safely. :-)

  • @Shmee150 I would freek out. I start sweating when i'm stuck for a minute.

  • @Shmee150 i got stuck on a GNER train for 4 hours

  • I bet you looked like a tourist when you filmed this.

  • @BlexTrex

You looked like a dumbass when you wrote that comment.

  • @CleverDjembe You had some mental issues when you wrote that comment and you still have mental issues.

  • @BlexTrex

    ROFL!

  • @BlexTrex I bet I did! I think I probably look like a tourist with most things I film! But I don't mind :)

  • @Shmee150

Yeah. Same for me when I spot cars. I mostly take pictures and rarely films

  • I hardly ever take the underground/subway/metro in Amsterdam, because of the reason shown above. I don't want to be trapped in a tunnel, I've been stuck in elevators many a times and that was bad enough! :-)

  • @RogueNL This was the first time anything like this has happened to me and I used to take the underground fairly often. Now though after this I'm going to try and stay as clear of it as I can.

  • ha....talk about bad luck. I hate public transportation.

  • when you panned the camera to the left @ 0:26 it reminded me of cloverfield and thought you were gonna get attacked by those creatures. xD

  • Well, at least you got to see the drivers cockpit from the inside :D

  • @SpotterGijs True, looking on the bright side I suppose!

  • @Shmee150

    Exactly :P!

  • do you always have your camera with you?!

  • @otocar91 Pretty much! Everywhere I go, at least one camera comes with me!

  • Mind the gap

  • @bentleyspotter Yes! There was a big gap to mind!

  • ?? Whats happened with the train?

  • Is it a Veyron? Is it a Zonda? nope it's a Train, and an Unreliable one at that matter. I Kinda miss the underground, it's all round vibrance of Happy-Go shoppers and Businessmen. Am i Wierd for saying that? xD

  • @GTRJacko Yes you're weird for saying that haha! It's horrible, cramped, hot, sweaty, slow, late, eugh I hate it!

  • Mmm...I wont use the underground when I visit London haha

  • @rjtdbf It's not normally too bad; this was a freak event but an hour stuck underground is not fun!

  • Shit happens sometimes....even in an british subway.

  • @AndreyPurtov Unfortunately it happens far too regularly on the British subways.

  • v8 or v10 in that one? haha

  • @seomoz V0

  • @Shmee150 hahaha

  • haha nice ! I would shit in my pans if this happens to me :D

  • @MrPorschefanatic Some people were starting to get very anxious after an hour stuck in the tunnel, it was a bit strange!

  • why would u need to take a train? u got ur aston martin :D

  • @tylerwalker2 Like I said, picked a very bad day to take the train!

  • @Shmee150 oooo lmfao i c

  • @tylerwalker2 Almost anything is faster then driving around london haha

  • @livelifefit This is not true. Within the centre of the city; sort of equivalent to Zone 1/2 of the tube it is vastly quicker to drive anywhere than the tube. For example my journey to work at rush hair is 4 miles, it takes 18-19 mins in the car against 35-40 minutes in the tube - when it doesn't go wrong! The misconception about driving is simply how hard it is to get in and out of the city, when you are in it's easy!
