@Spongink: for this was a sword, but ou can use this with any weapon. I might so a brief look back at WE this weekend. Good test for fraps on the new PC.
@xMadSkillzx: stance is bad because it negates the ability to use an Increased Attack Speed (IAS) skill, which allows you to pump the damage out faster. Like Bust of Aggression or Frenzy.
Great build for pve i took res chant out and used Pain inverter since im mainly a great tank i found i could produce tons of dmg great video i enjoy the vids you have produced sofar
I have the endurance, BoA, the attacks, and then i have defensive stance, soldier's defense, and enraging charge. I have yet to use it but I tried to make it into a tanking for pve. any thoughts?
@chuchu3257: I have actually updated the build in the past few months, so that one is actually slightly out dated. Currently, I running 12+1+1 in Str and 12+1 in Sword/Axe (whichever weapon I feel like using that day). Because I have removed Tactics, for Swords I am using Seeking Blade and for Axe I am using Furious Axe instead of Soilder's Strike. Also I have removed the Healing Sig for Asuran Scan to increase the Damage.
@chuchu3257: You should have a rez on your bar at all times... even if its a Rez Signet or Sunspear Rebirth. 3-4 attack skills are plunty for the bar since all the skills recharge in 6 seconds or less. I might repost this build with the updates I have done to it.
As for tanking, Warrior Endurence should be fun with the right defense skills. Although, Defy Pain works great!
The GvG version that was all the rage was an axe based build to encompass Dismember; which adds Deep Wound on top of the free 3 energy gain since its an adr skill. So you can use sword or axe. But if you use the axe verison, you might want to switch BoA to Frenzy and a stance cancel like Rush, Sprint or Dash. You can even use Pious Haste if you want to try some Wind Prayers Heals. Either way, bring a stance that stops Frenzy and can help in another manner.
thank you Sabre :) your vids are sick, keep up the good work and thanks for the help. think i might go sword though, has better consistant damage, stronger skills(imo) and have a right feel to them. thank you for your advice and support, hope you get better. :)
hey sabre,i was gonna try build an hour ago,but somehow im suspended and have to wait for 71 hours, so sorry :(, but im sure that build woud work, wen i get my account back ill tell you my results :)
thanks, and yes, for PvE its espically good because most PvE senarios, you wont have enough Adrenaline to do much of anything... so its acually better for PvE then it is in PvP where the action is more constant.
hey people, i'm a new player to GW but i dont really understand the code of the build that is placed in video description and comments. What can i do with it? Btw SabreWolf you have some nice videos and you inspired me to making a warrior :) Thx for helping
AS for the code, the build code is a set of letters and numbers to signify a profession, a skill set and attributes for that build to make it easier to send to other players. The game is based around the build you bring to the table in match or expidition. To use it, highlight the code and copy it. Then bring up your attribute/skill GUI and paste the code into that window. Then save it to keep it.
The game saves it in a skill folder as a notepad document. So if you wanted to, you could make a new notepad document and paste the code into that document, and name the file and the game would read it (after you restart the game if you had the game running) you can actually zip the entire folder and send it to a friend if you wanted to.
The are other things the code could be used for (like Team Builder) but I will save that for later...
When you take a single charactor into the end of game (EOG) mission, you may only recieve that end of game collector item once. However, if you take a different charactor to do that same mission, you may recieve another collector item. So the rule is charactor based not account based. You may also buy that item from someone else in the game, but you must beat the mission again to enter that area to trade the item for a nother weapon. Usually the EOG collector items go for 8-10k.
Nice build, wouldn't have thought of dumping adrenaline altogether but it works out well here. The core skill Power Attack (I forgot exactly what it's called) seems pretty noobish, but with WE is actually kinda nice. 5/5
hehehe, I do have a scythe version of this build, that video was the basic version i used everywhere with sword... here is the code for the scythe version below... enjoy!
No... this build is a Energy based build to help get to your attacks faster... unlike adr builds which need to "charge" before you get to the skills, instead of just using the skills at the beggining of battle. Since the bar has no adr on it, skills like Rage of the Ntouka would not help this build...
However, Rage of the Ntouka would help an adr based build, and I can look into that skill for you to see what skills would pair well with that skill. :-)
Yes this would give you the jump to get to your adr skills so you can have them at the begining of battle... however... it will take you twice as long to get to those skills to use them again... becuase it disables your skills... so I would recommend only using that skill sparingly...
got a axe or hammer build that does much dmg for pve pls?

Eh, this would be decent for PvP except that WD turns into a stance. They keep screwing up warriors

Quick question, why is the fact it's a stance bad? enchantment removals are more common than stance removals.
