Thank you , I just started to grow my own basil. I have sweet, Thai and Cinnamon basil starting from seeds. I went to the farmers market and pickd up a bag of basil and trans planted some of the steems in potting soil and it started growing, Thank your for the advice on the pinching off the flowers. Do you have any tips on how to purn them so they grow more bushy?
@Rotorzilla If you pinch the stems right above a set of leaves, the stem will then branch into 2, continue to do this and it helps the plant get a little more bushy. But start this early so the plant won't get too top heavy.
Have you gone to my blog and downloaded the free ebook 'Love Your Basil'?
I've always love basil; i mix it with my health drink every morning. Unfortunately i don't have a green thumb and i've attempted to grow my own many times unsuccessfully. I am in the process of venturing out on hydroponic indoor in my apt. Basil is definitely one of the plant i intend to use. Do you have a store? i'm heading to Texas sometime this year. I have a friend whom i will visit so he can help me start my project. It would be nice to get more tips from you personally. Thanks
