That was my grandparents boat ... Another boat came by and took my grandma and her dog and my papa stayed on , he jumped off seconds before the boat actually started on fire ..

my dads friend was telling me about a time he was on his house boat at shuswap (lived in eagle bay) he seen a man standing on the water in the middle of the lake... got a little closer, he was standing on his upside down floater plane.....they tried to tow it in but had to cut it loose when it started to sink

I find Magna Bay and Anglemont too far and isolated. Did you ever go to Finz or Family Fun Centre? Finz burned down in 2008.

There are fireboat in the Vancouver harbour but not on the Shuswap.

Is this near Scotch Creek or Celista?

There wasn't a fire boat just fireman on the shore. This happened in front of our cabin in Anglemont, BC just past Celista.
