Chris Orwig's Reasons to Upgrade to Photoshop CS4

I've just purchased CS4 and am new to digital....but I wish I'd seen all these comments first....looking at everyones posts on all the videos, it doesn't seem like it's been particularly well received.....

Nonsense, CS4 is an excellent product, the only people why people whine:

a - it doesn't offer a lot more than CS3 (not an issue for you)

b - the disappointment that no 64 bit version is available for the Mac (caused by Apple)

c - most whiners here whine almost daily

pros always wanna save time not money. thats why they never bother to get something really expensive yet offer best quality that wont harm their hardwork coz they believe they would get so much more than they spend. so by going into vista thats not only would harm their hardwork but its career suicide. you know price always hand-in-hand with quality. dont forget theres a saying you get what you paid for. mac is the one and only tools engineered for pros.

Because Vista blows and most of us just want the bare bones photoshop without the gay looking graphics. Thanks for letting me reply to your bonehead comment.

Nice why not save your money and get a PC with Vista 64 ?! That will solve everyone's problem!

Actually no.. most systems are not 64 bit architecture. Hell even most laptops are too... some of my friends are waiting for the new macbook because of that.

Though I joke with them because they will be using Vista 64 anyway.

But whats the joke? CS4 doesnt run in 64 bit in OSX.

Architecture has nothing do with it, it has to whether the CPU supports 64 bit.

AMD already had 64 bit support 5 years ago and so had Intel 4 a year later and I doubt many people are using computers that are more than 3 years old, let alone consider to use those for Vista...sigh

And the reason why I said "You're joking, right?", is because I think it's ridiculous to recommend to Mac users who would like to have a 64 bit version of Photoshop, to buy a PC instead...sigh
