Have nothing to do with martial arts. pure dancing, made up forms. Yes, acrobatics looks good. but it is just acrobatics. traditional martial arts form is a book of fighting technique, strategy and tactics. What they showed here is desecration of martial arts. A parody.

Well most form are dances. What do you consider a Dance? They're dances with deadly techniques only visible to those who study the art, Which make martial art more easier to teach and to memorize and hard for people outside to to steal their techniques.

Each movement should have a purpose.

1) Wushu Competitor was performing Eagle Claw: Rating 9 out of 10

2) Free Style Form Competitor: Rating 7 out of 10 (Didnt know what he was fighting, but he could yell real good).

3) Weapons Competitor/Staff: 9 out of 10

4) Weapons Competitor/Nunchaku: 8 out of 10

These are my own ratings, if I figure out a point to each of the movements, stability in stance, power in strikes and fluid motions then no high score.

I do Wushu, Traditional Kung Fu, Boxing, Kick Boxing, BJJ, Wrestling, MMA

and Sanshou Kung Fu (Chinese Kick Boxing) When I fight in the ring I don't look

very kick boxer like. I actually look very traditional and people think I don't even KNOW Kick Boxing. So I win pretty well with Kung Fu, because I know the MMA world and its weaknesses, so I get the strengths of both and leave the weaknesses of both. However its still inevitable for me to not look traditionally formal in my movements. :)
