My french is not very good - is this a radio controlled full scale (1:1) jet turbine CriCri? Very cool! What flight times do you get? I believe there is a jet / turbine powered CriCri that carries a pilot - I understand it cannot carry enough fuel to fly for even 30 minutes (I think this breaks the rules for landing with a minimum amount of fuel?). Also, how much ballast (or extra weight) did you add to for stability (instead of a pilot)?
Superb in flight footage... UGH.

could this plane actually lift the weight of a 160lb pilot or does it need to ba a bit larger??
this is very cool :)

Wouldn't the jets weigh less than the piston engines? So some CG alterations would be required full-scale.

you know that expression about overcompensating? no, i'm not talking about the pilot, i'm talking about the plane.

might as well hope in with your remote and fly it. im pretty sure he can mod it so hey can fit in. and maybe get better motors . due to his weight

a jet powered cri cri would be awesome!

There is already a "real" Cri Cri out there with what I believe to be the same jet engines on it? There are plenty of pix on the net of it.
MrHuckFin1 6 months ago
Why didnt you just build the full scale with the same engines?

it looks like the plane is getting a boner

I don't understand why you wouldn't want to fly in this cri cri? Why RC plane?
