As to the performance, I think the recording does not do it justice. The soprano's do a fine job - but recorded from this distance the choir is dominated by their sound. You can balance the chords better by recording from a closer distance, and with a good microphone.
I want to kick that editor that put a page turn right in the middle of that "How should tasting..." section. So exposed!
