Both the Jena six and the noose incident were hoaxes; there was no white racism in either case - but there was black racism against whites. As for the media, it is (by and large) virulently anti-white. This breeds resentment. When that resentment is voiced, it is referred to as "racism".

Well, all the issues that you bring up, notably that our telling of history in the US is biased, are part of the history courses that I am currently taking in college. The problem is that I believed that I knew everything about history already, but college courses in particular and books like A People's History by Howard Zinn really do justice in telling the balanced truth.

The Jena noose incident was dismissed by conservatives as a "youth prank"...That certainly helped legitimize the act. It was on FOX I think, I saw it on YouTube, and was appalled how lightly the show and most of the guests took the incidence. They so downplayed it.

Well, that's not meant to denigrate every European of the Renaissance age. Most Europeans at that point were oppressed and uneducated agrarian peasants. Yet the same could be said for India, China, Arab world, etc. during the same time frame.

Yea, but I'm talking about circumnavigation...a trip that spans the entirety of the earth. The first recorded fleet that accomplished that was under Admiral Zheng He under the orders of Zhu Di before China turned in on itself and shut its doors to the outside world for centuries.

Why does that even matter? For your information, I'm of Korean descent. I don't even have to be Asian to appreciate the remarkable feat of Zheng He. And besides, can you name the over 200 ethnic groups present in Asia? We're not just Chinese or Japanese.

I'm not sure about that. Sorry for jumping down your throat, by the way...haha. China is a pretty large country and the eastern and southern parts of the country are significantly different from the industrialized areas.

The Falls are known as Amanzi Athunqayo or Mosi oa Tunya (Smoke that Thunders) but Livingstone rocked up and decided that he would "give them their English name in honour of Queen Victoria.

i live in ny and i heard about noose being hung at that professors door. Also in lesser known news a noose was found in an Roslyn, NJ construction site trailer where only 3 black men worked and the rest were white or other. The black men found their white co-workers playing around with the noose. It really isn't a joke
