I then look at how orderly the intersections around here are and I am disappointed at the number of collisions we have here. One cannot to be expected with large roads in every street which will be sufficient for the traffic it had. And we Indians never bother to go to our destination as fast as possible and you can see police concentrated in most busy areas and only in busy hours so these things are quite common!! OMF'ingG...my blood pressure shot up 30 points just from watching this! I imagine that Indians are used to these conditions. But for a westerner, driving in India could very well induce a stress related heart attack. Driving in India seems to have much of the same adrenaline rush, excitement, danger, coordination, timing, reflexes, intensity, etc....as a NASCAR race! Due to my inexperience in these traffic conditions, I wouldn't feel even close safe in anything less than an armored tank/APC!

It's not uncommon to hear about people dying due to Heart attacks or Traffic Accidents every single day in India, Mostly its the two wheeler riders that get mowed down by Trucks or Cars in accidents, I would never take my two wheeler anywhere outside unless it's close-by, Cars are the Safest option !
