@FRESHLOVE14 It all depends on your skill & patience. They can all be really messy but the speed one is the best just follow the directions to the T & see if you can find a few tutorials on it first. I messed up the first time & totally screwed up my nails.
@CosmeMali I was thinking about using the Lightning speed kit for just the acrylic and not the tips since my nails are already really long they just need to be thicker.
you should do a tutorial on using the kit. I already know how but its just an idea. I watch the vids ppl make of that kit and i swear they are shit-tayyy lmao
omg i got mines at walmart too!!! thanks for the smell thing because i live in a dorm and for some reason i didnt think about the smell! thanks for the heads up!!! :D
at first yea....the acrylic was a kinda clumpy but i used the electric nail file... and it was ok.... now i know how to do it.. im gonna try it again and hopefully the next time it comes out perfect....
@lexy19871 I think about 2 weeks. That was a long time ago so I kinda forgot. But results will vary depending on if you do it correctly & how much you do with your hands.
Awesome review, girl! I just got this kit and I wanted to get the speed gel one but the store I went to didn't had it so I got this one. I'm going to try it out the next time I do my nails. Thanx for the heads up on the smell :).
i just bought that kit the other day, it came with some apple drops to mask the smell. i haven't used it yet though, can't i just put the acrylic over my real nails instead of using the fake tips?
@oreatwins1433 I probably won't be able to because I normally get my nails done at the salon now & I get silk wraps. I don't take my nails off at home by myself. so I apologize.

I just tried this today and omg no wonder people go to salons and pay $40. I think this is more for people who are a bit more experienced than others. I lasted like 2 hrs. gluing, cutting, and filing them. It is kinda messy and yes it smells really strong. i don't think i did it right cuz there not glossy. The vid said to file and buff, but its not really working. Maybe next time ill try the lightning speed.
Well I pay $22 at the nail salon... And it is more for skilled people. I'm really good at doing nails so that's why it was easy for me. But you should try the lightening speed one it's a lot easier. I'll do a review on it soon.
But weird cause my nails lasted as long as they would at the salon.
which acrylic kit from kiss is the best one to use?

for some reason the acrylic seems to absorb quickly for me when i place it in my dappen dish
urbnistiq 1 year ago
@urbnistiq If you're referring to the liquid it could be that it's evaporating really quick... try to do it in a cool area.
makeupvixen13 1 year ago
@ceely6593 No because you have to put the acrylic powder over the tops so when they come off that's it.
