  • 240p so we meet again!

  • LOL stupid Windows fanboys. Everybody knows Macs are not for gaming they are for browsing gay porn sites and online shopping at Hot Topic and Urban Outfitters

  • If you were a game dev, would you rather make your game for Mac OS (10% market share, only serious users, close to no gamers) or for Windows (90% market share, a lot of users world wide)?

It's not because Mac OS sucks, it's because Mac OS was made for another target group.

If you prefer a Windows, just buy one, and don't try to make Mac user buy Windows stuff. You're not paid by M$ to do dat, aren't you?

  • @louisvl10 If there was a comment of the week, yours would be it.

  • I couldn't help but chuckle at "I AM ROOT"

  • mac is whack like crack dont worry PC's got yo back! -:]

  • Watching this on Linux right now. I am root!

  • My girlfriend bought a mac because it's pretty...

  • the thing which i hat are apple owners who cant fucking stop whining how better their mac iphone, ipod,,etc is or how superior they are to the other products shut the fuck up bitches.....they seem brainwashed

  • Macs- Just work.

PCs- Work just the way you want them too.

    I'm a pc and I switched from a mac.

  • @MrTheDarknesswithin Linux- It works by busting your brain.

  • @Anonomys246 Lol. I run a dedicated server on Linux. I agree 100%

  • @Nickmav1337 Yeah I still love Linux though, it progressively keeps improving.

  • @Anonomys246 its the future my friend

  • @Anonomys246

Yes it does... I have Ubuntu 11.04 dual booted on all of my computers... I Love it

  • "I am root!" Hahahahaha

  • I'm a Linux and you need to shut the fuck up.

  • Why do people say mac cant play games?? they can play games but havent got the same quality, plus one of these computers must be a gaming computer, so PC makes games more welcome and you must download alot of shit to your computer to get virus protection and so on... Mac focus on a "flexibel" or a computer made to work with. PC and Mac is two different things

  • yay for sims!

  • get an iMac and install windows on parallels with it, get whatever game you like ;-) , but when ya want other things there is mac os with all its productivity pills.

  • Poor Linux

  • i like all 3 of them but the new macs can run the pc games (FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD) so pc might fall off because thats all i liked them for, i like linux for being able to do what i want to it and its open source so free. i like mac for the graphic programs like adobe products because they run better than on a pc and mac runs smoother than a pc they are chopy pc's r smoother running.

  • @matthewcolt1911 Yeah, through virtual environment.. Like an emulator.. But why use emulator when you can buy the real thing at half of the price with double power :)

  • ive used mac, windows, linux, anything, and since i got my mac the only reason i miss windows is playing SOME games. the games i can still play perform much better even with a lower processor than my old pc, and im not exactly a tech noob.

also, i love linux and used to use that on my pc for everything other than gaming and music production. ive had far less problems since switching to mac, and linux never gave me amy problems unless i made the problem by doing something wrong.

  • @onlyspitfire Shut the fuck up. No games run better on a Mac. End of story.

  • @tehnull alright then uneducated prick, no need to swear. yeah, actually, they do... put side by side, with equal spec (or lower on the mac) itll run better/ atleast equal. and i also have the benefit of no shitty windows problems and mac stability. the mac has not died on me once yet during music production, whereas windows was awful.

  • @onlyspitfire Again. You're dumb and wrong. I've never experienced any instability that wasn't either a hardware problem or a PEBKAC issue. It doesn't matter what brand you buy if you only spend $300 on a new computer, it's gonna be a laggy unstable piece of crap. I've owned and used both Apple and PCs for 17 yrs and I've yet to see a mac outperform a pc with similar specs on anything. Saying a system with lesser hardware is faster is like saying a smaller bucket holds more water.

  • @onlyspitfire Also I'd like to point out that AMD and Nvidia both develop drivers on windows platforms and issue drivers for those platforms first followed by Linux based platforms such as OSX. This instantly puts the mac at a disadvantage because you can't run as much bleeding edge hardware as a PC. Keep talkin though kid, it's obvious you're a biased fool. Macs are great and serve their purpose but gaming isn't one of those purposes yet.

  • @onlyspitfire Your next argument is going to be "all the viruses". In the 17 years I've owned computers I've had 1 virus caused by my own stupidity. I don't run any real time virus scanning either. I do a once a month offline scan of my disks so as to not have my system bogged down by bloated antivirus software. PC's are like performance motorcycles. If you don't know what you're doing it'll buck ya.

  • @tehnull actually hadnt though of viruses. but yeah, ive never really had viruses. and that comment makes you sound like the really nerdy side of linux users, 'you have to know how it works for it to work properly'. it should just work, i know what im doing, but when you have to spend so much time maintaining and tweaking things, theres something fundamentally wrong in the first place.

  • "gaming on a mac is like wood!"

  • Linux can help you heal windows in case of bad administrating

  • mac for the win.

  • I use the Mac for work... I use the PC for gaming... I am done now.

  • @mcdrew364 see? mac runs games fine, but they didn't design it for those insomniac gamers who should try to get a job.... both pc and mac are great.. so shut the hell up :/

  • i love my mac, i love my pc who the heck cares about, i play alot on my mac and i play alot on my pc only difrence is there are not enough games for mac but that will change guys, steam is only the beginning. oh btw who cares how much a mac coasts or a pc you buy a mac because you want all in one and no upgrade shit and you buy a pc if you need a gaming machine. i have both and i like both so get over it.

Its like back in the old days when there was a wall between east and west germany lol

  • @therene You say no upgrade shit like its a feature. But its the opposite.

  • Yeah just got Linux SOOOO much happier!

  • Mac can play Minecraft :)

    All I need

  • people who buy macs arent poor enough to go out and buy a ps3 or an xbox thats why

  • My brand new 2011 iMac for the same amount of money had a 2.5 ghz quad core i5 an AMD Radeon HD 6750 512 mb shitty graphics card and 4 gb RAM for system. Compare tgese two systems and see which is the better value. You'd be dumb to buy an Apple. Even their 2000 dollar iMac cant match my XPS 8300

  • @TheEmpowered787 you dont have a mac.

  • @TheEmpowered787 uhh. that mac your talking about there is only 900 dollars. Herp derp.

  • Gaming on a Mac is impossible. I used to be a hardcore Apple fan til I realized my new 1200 dollar iMac couldn't even handle starcraft 2 on lowest graphics in a 4v4. I took that back and for that money I got a Dell Xps 8300 high performance gaming pc. It has 1 TB memory 3.4 ghz i7 processor and a 1gb AMD Radeon HD 6870 graphics card. I also have 8 gb RAM.

  • Thee sad thing is that gaming on a Mac is actually really awesome.

  • @imapieface Yes farm ville is pretty great.

  • LOL new linux geek voice.

  • Guys, let me explain. I think everyone will agree with this. PC is for the hardcore gamers, and also office work that requires software exclusive to Mac. Mac can run Windows, but I'll leave that alone, because Windows can run Mac as well. Macs, particularly Macbooks, are great for someone who really isn't into gaming, but using it for music, movies, photos, travelling, and basic work functions, like Office. It's almost always relative to the situation. I'm sure we can all agree on that.

  • I have used both in my life right now I have a PC. If I had the money right now i'd buy a mac. Why??? because there better fucking computers. They have had more time go into them and they have much more craftsmanship behind them. People don't game on a mac you don't buy a mac to waste time they are a productive computer for your life not to waste your life away playing games when i can just play a fuck n game on a xbox. macs are able to run windows to so really you have a pc as well duh!!!!

  • @niksinthe916 .What are you doing here on youtube trolling about macs and pcs when you should be doing something productive with your life?

May I suggest working on your communication skills? Surely this vast internet could teach you about sentence structure.

  • @job2k6 Fool your the one trolling the internet looking to start fights on youtube. I really don't care about the structure of my sentence's. Everybody has a opinion leave mine the fuck alone. You outta be locked in a porta potty rolled down a hill and set on fire you fucking nemrod.

  • @niksinthe916 Perhaps work on that quick temper too. Why if you were mild mannered and equipped with a better vocabulary you could really go places :)

  • @job2k6 Your not smart, nobody likes you and you probably smell of cheap stetson cologne. Go away!!!

  • @niksinthe916 Best. Comeback. Ever.

  • I would like to state that I am a mac user and I play halo, Borderlands, Black and White2, Civ 5, Knights of the Old Republic one and two, Duke nukem forever, and final fantasy 7....Better quality and performance than any PC I've ever used.

  • @eyeslikeezera awesome, bro.

  • @eyeslikeezera I bet your mac can't run battlefield 3 on max with dx 11 :)

  • @HifeMan Im pretty sure it could.

  • @eyeslikeezera Except that for the price of your Mac you probably could've built a PC that's 3x as powerful.

  • @PurePunishment actually I bought it used from my high school for a grand

  • @eyeslikeezera cool i bought a brand new pc for 600 that can run everything you can around 80fps

  • @PurePunishment omg so true!

  • @PurePunishment and games which you play

  • @PurePunishment Yeah, and then he'd be stuck with Windows again.

  • " I AM ROOT!!!" ... you need to have a linux computer to get that

  • haha classic

  • lollinux

  • xD I run my server on Windows 7. Not Ubuntu/Linux

  • Linux doesn't run all the servers, I own my own server and it runs on XP although the mod runs via Linux but that's because sourcemod fucked itself over and now only the Linux versions work. D: I do hope they fix it......

  • I AM ROOT

  • TF2, CSS, L4D2, WoW, SC2, Diablo 3 and of course Minecraft. What do I need Windows for? :)

  • @Meladnify for playing actual good games.

  • @Meladnify oh and being able to run the games you mentioned at more than 4 frames per second

  • @MilesWS1234 How was that arrogant? Macs aren't immune to viruses, they just don't have a big enough market share for viruses to exist.

  • @blackblade123 Nope, Mac OSX is based on BSD, which right now (like Linux) is pretty damn immune to viruses (if i recall correctly only a few viruses have ever existed for BSD or Linux). Windows is the least secure operating system. I only boot to windows to play games that I can't run via Wine on Linux/GNU. The only reason most games are Windows exclusive is that they use DirectX which of cause is only available on Microsoft platforms (Windows, Xbox etc.).

  • @Pyrok1netic

like fuck their immune,i used to run bsd servers and we got infected by a branch of kakworm.

    took 3 days to fix

  • @heathirving unless someone had access to the machine or had ssh access or something similar how would have it even been possible for someone to get the virus onto the machine and execute it? Also how the flying dildos did you manage to get a BSD server infected by a JavaScript virus that spreads through security holes in Outlook Express and Internet Explorer?!

  • @Pyrok1netic

dont know, didnt do a heck of a lot of damage anyway

i was told it was a port of kakworm, but you know...

the 25gb of data on the system was retained :)

  • ya know macs are kinda like pcs in the gaming department think about awesome pc exclusives then consoles bogs down the graphics. mac: awesome mac exclusives then pc takes over and steals some concepts and exclusives ( witcher) and then mac gaming comes back but its graphics are bogged down by the iphone

  • funny how i instantly suspect these guys for being hardcore gamers. Buy a mac, get a girlfriend

  • @yngvaa94 You don't buy macs..... you waste a couple thousand dollars.

  • I AM ROOT! xD

  • @Koppis1337 so much win

  • /watch?v=uWpSHVPCC4M Every MW3 Fan Has To See This!

  • did you know that the app store is the no. 1 gaming plattform. And guess what: it was offered by apple!

  • @Bambusratte7 if you are serious then you are fucking stupid steam is way better

  • @smashum08 should probably mention mind, Steam is now available for Mac. Anyone who thinks the app store is a better place to buy games than Steam is indeed retarded though. The only difference now is you have a lot more money to spend on steam games if you didn't just drop 2 grand on a mac capable of playing them.

  • @sonicwingnut Not to mention that in 3 years a mac user will need to buy a whole new $2 grand computer just to play the latest games, rather than spending $500 upgrading the computer you already have.

  • @Pyrok1netic true, although you can upgrade graphics cards fairly easily in a mac pro these days. The difference is that you've got a much smaller selection of graphics cards that are compatible. I didn't spec my PC for gaming mind, it was for audio. When I decided I might as well use the i7 and 12GB ram for a bit of gaming too, it cost me £90 to upgrade to a GTX460 that more than does the job for now. I can't say an average mac user will have that option.

  • @Pyrok1netic

thats right, just went to macgames.com and you even have to have a certain chipset on your grfx card or the gam wont run at all!!

  • @Bambusratte7 of what?angry bird?

we talkin about big titles like call of duty and battlefield 3 here u nutjob

  • I inverted the colors on my mac! oh the power i'm saving on my battery :3

  • Funny how the PC guy always ends up wearing a boring suit when PC's are in fact the king of non-consol gaming.

Would seem more fitting to have the Mac guy wearing a straitjacket.

  • @sbowesuk fuck non consol gaming they are the best at gaming no matter what you are playing

  • Comment removed

  • @sbowesuk Suits boring?!You crazy?

    Mac sucks,he doesn't even own a suit!

    /how i met your mother

  • @sbowesuk Suit is waaaay better than those casual clothes. Suits pc just fine

  • Steam !!!!!

  • Awww Linux :(

  • Yes, gaming on a Mac is like wood.

  • Oh, and Bill Gates stole Windows idea from Steve Jobs, but fucked it up in the process.

  • @PygmyJess LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. Where the hell did you get that false info?

  • You know you can partition your Mac to run Windows and OSX? You can't do that with a PC.

  • @PygmyJess because you can't run OSX on a Pc is because it's against the EULA, so they can't unless it's a hackintosh. so stfu

  • @PygmyJess You can put an Nvidia GTX 590 in a pc. You can't do that with a Mac.

  • @PygmyJess I'm clueless. Why does a PC need to run OSX?

  • @oleester The only real reason why you need Windows on Mac is to play games. Cause a lot of games only make them for Windows. Gaming companies usually don't like to spend more money to program games for Macs, but some do. The coding for them is a lot different and usually people don't have that skill set.

  • But then some programs only run on Macs and those programs I really do like. OSX has a lot more user friendly apps that are amazing that you could never get on a PC.

  • @PygmyJess ROFL, you clearly proved the point that Macs are for retards!

  • @camargo2012 I misread his statement at first, but thank you for pointing out my error. I used a PC for 20 years and I'm taking Video Game design at FSU and guess what we use to make games? Macs. I also got my Associates in Multimedia design. What did we use? Macs. All around Macs are well executed for everything. I can't say that about all Apple products though.

  • @PygmyJess thats why your channel says u are 20 years old right now ur probably a kid raging about why macs are better than pcs with no actual proof stfu

  • mac can run qwop and that all XD

  • @12DanihellDG well im a PC and i CAN have all those games IN HD, and THEY RUN FAST! maybe it is in HD but how do you like gaming on your mac? yea it runs slower than mexicans crossing the street

  • My games in my mac: Age of empires 2 Age of Empires 3 Age of mythology Halo Left 4 Dead 2 Call of duty 2 Call of duty 4 Modern Warfare Call of duty Modern Warfare 2 Angry Birds Plants vs Zombies Modern Combat Domination hahahaha the only thing PC customers can say is: shit shit shit im a fag games im a fag shit shit shit games DAMN! MY COMPUTER CRASHED AGAIN!!
  • @12DanihellDG trolololololololol

  • Comment removed

  • @flangered thanks :D

  • @12DanihellDG i bet those slide shows sure run good on ur mac bro!

  • I use my Mac for work, my windows for gaming, and what did I use Linux for again...Oh yea! Emulators for nes games.

  • Linuxs argument is invalid...i run a beautiful game server on a seperate windows machine. Linux, i dont fucking need you.

  • I can run windows games directly ON linux.

Basically, POSIX-compliant vs. windows is what the discussion should be about.

    So much FUD.

  • I can run windows on my MAC, and play anything PC has to offer at anytime, with no slowdown whatsoever.

    Next argument.

  • @danielkills Exactly what im doing right now with the latest iMac, PC fanbois are so dumb

  • @IRONMAN357

yeah we're dumb enough to spell fanboys correctly

    dumbass

  • @danielkills Yep, but the cheapest mac that CAN play those games are $1800. The $1500 macbook pro doesn't even have a dedicated videocard. BTW i just saw a nice Acer laptop with an i5 processor, dedicated videocard, 17.3" screen, and 640 gigs of hard drive space for $700. Next argument.

  • this video is low quality cos it was made on a pc!!!

  • @paul201984 What are you talking about?

  • @jcksparrowfan But Windows (7 and Xp)is on 90% of peoples computers and macs are a small 9% with linux at 1% that means atleast 7 out of every ten people run windows xp or 7 and mac is at 2 out of every 10 people, linux is 1/10 This is the point where Microsoft rules :) Have fun running Tetris in the lowest quality possible(this is sarcasm for you narrow minded people).

  • Macs rule. They are the number one computer for video editing in Hollywood, and everywhere else.

  • @jcksparrowfan die in a hole nuff said

  • "You stupid lamers!"

  • Gaming on a mac is like wood? Is that like that riddle about the rven being similar to the writing desk?

  • pc- cheap effective and jaw dropping if done right - for people who want to get there shit done and then get out, or for someone that wants to get a couple kills on counterstrike

mac- expensive, pretty, mainly just expensive-for people that think being on facebook all the time is actually fun / productive, some good business software comes stock i will admit

linux- minimalist gets the job done and absolutely free- for people that are computing raw data or doont need a full blown os

  • Each one of them has a its advantages and disadvantages. Good design (and i don't just mean pretty, shiny shit), sells. The Mac has some advantage in this regard as it is a far more integrated platform, wich brings some advantages, particularty, for non technical users. I love computers, but many people see them merely as tools they have to use, and that's fine. Doesn't mean they're stupid. By the way, right now i'm running mac os x on a pc with just a couple 3rd party kernel extensions.

  • PCs- People who spend hours making those games.

Macs- People who hang out at starbuck's talking to real people.

  • @Skwinkster lololololololololol starbucks? why would i go to starbucks and talk to a 500 pound guy drinking a frappuchino when i could get my headshot fix on my i7-2600k then go to the beach afterward? i guess your just to cheap to buy your own internet...

  • STFU FTW

  • PC - The older brother, popular at school and has a lot of friends

Mac - The annoying little sister who's parents always take her side

    Linux - The retarded cousin

  • @joeydestroyer

Linux - The Buff ass cousin who will fucking murder you.

  • /sc

    ROOT

  • a mac accepts "non-appled" products, but gives you the feeling that the new hardware is not welcome, and treats it like an animal in a cage!

  • Lol

  • /watch?v=Jtw7_JAHfmU give mine a watch ;D

  • why does linux make me think of a canadian?

  • My iMac + Bootcamp + Any PC game = WIN

  • @bootstrap1668 Ur iMac + Bootcamp + any pc game = Wanna be computer. IF you want to use WINDOWS BUY A PC. Nuff said.

  • @otakumike2006 Urr. You're wrong. I can run my full Final Cut Studio (iza media freelancer) off of my iMac i7 Quad core w/8gb of ram. AND amp the settings on Black ops, Crysis 2, and Modern WF 2.

    So I say again. WIN.

  • @bootstrap1668 Go out and buy a REAL PC not an immitation POS $2,000 mac. My AMD X4 16 GIG's or DDR3 can kill your I7

  • @otakumike2006 You still don't understand. I have 2 OS's you have 1. I winz.

  • @bootstrap1668 Dual booting doesn't mean shit. Without bootcamp you'd still be playing Chess while I'll be playing DNF, Prey, Prey 2 and the real games and on a REAL PC.

enjoy your obsolete piece of crap. I spent $600 on my PC and mine will always beat a MAC.

  • @bootstrap1668 Oh wow. So you can dual boot. Big flipping deal. I can dual boot windows as well as Ubuntu or any Microsoft or FREEBSD product. :-) And it's not emulated either. :-p I can also use virtual box or Virtual PC. And I imagine they run way better than bootcamp. Remember bootcamp=Emulator. :-D So again you fail because your useing an emulator and not a real OS. Like you can with a PC.

    APPLE's = Fail. Bootcamp = Epic FAIL.

  • @otakumike2006 Bootcamp is not an emulator you dumbass. Its takes and uses ALL the hardware power available. Virtual box IS an emulator. Apparently you have no clue what you're talking about.

But hey, ignorance is bliss. Enjoy your malware and Ubuntu buddy. The real party is going on over here :P

  • @otakumike2006 Oh and I can have all of the Microsoft Windows Versions if I wanted. It's not to hard for me. I've been in IT probably before you could even walk.

  • "I'll block your entire subnet, you stupid lamers. I am root!"

    LMAO!!!!!!!! That's funny.

  • Linux is only as good as the work u put into it, not saying I support it, but it has most potential.

but very few people, even myself, don't have the time to do checks and balances on an OS, thats why we pay companys that are liable to do it for us. macs are overpriced and undersupported, so windows wins by default.

  • linux really really sucks. those who use it refuses to admit it crashes. i tried ubuntu and it crashed ALL the time. i have had a mac too... it is no better

  • @eirikmurito Ubuntu 11.04 has crashed on me sometimes in the lockscreen, but that's rarely. As Livaitte said, it depends on how much work you put into it. If you use Ubuntu, they're nice enough to give you good default software and an entire software center, similar to the appstore, except in the appstore, you can't add third-party repositories to get more than originally allowed. Mac has it all set up for you, you just have to pay, Linux just takes more effort but is completely free.

  • @theif519 on ubuntu the default settings sucks. if you want to install something that is not on ubuntus list, you have hours, maybe days of hard work in front of you. the drivers "works", meaning that the drivers does what they are suposed to, but does it REALLY bad.

  • @eirikmurito I disagree, I guess it depends on how old your hardware is. Also, from what I see from a quick search, Mac needs a different type of download or format to run it in Bootcamp, so it could the fact that you're using a Macintosh. Ubuntu finds the open-source drivers, and if it can't find it, it'll ask you to find proprietary drivers. Macs are very fickle about their hardware and requirements. Ubuntu, depending on the version, is very stable, or at least it has been for me.

  • @theif519

ubuntu also accelerate very very slow, no matter how fast hardware you have, and i also get the feeling that the skins are not integrated. it is like the skin is made by another company

  • @eirikmurito Which version of Ubuntu did you use? I had no problem with Ubuntu Linux, nor it's stability, nor the performance. I put it on a 4 year old laptop running Vista and it's as good as new. My Desktop also runs smoother on Ubuntu rather than Win7.

  • @eirikmurito Actually, perhaps I read your initial statement wrong, you said you HAD a Mac? My bad. Any way, depending on how custom you want your Linux Distro to be is how good it will be. Mine looks beautiful if I say so myself, I even got a Dock instead of the standard bottom task bar, I added widgets and whatnot, and aesthetically, IMO, it looks better than any Mac OS X or Windows 7. Linux is all about customization and freedom of choice. That's what makes it so good. Not to mention its free

  • @theif519

It's for those who knows how to do it. For not so advanced users it may turn out to be a nightmare, and they DON"T want to spend time tuning up OS anyway.

It may become tricky here, see, PCs too may have some tinkering when hardware is upgraded, but you can always leave it to a pro; while taking computer to a workshop only to tune up OS... oh, common, who's gonna do that? Not to mention there isn't that much people specialized on wide variety Linux distros (it's not about servers)

  • @SwineNahNah The amount of people using and trying out Linux is increasing every day. In fact, I got a friend of mine to try Ubuntu Linux, and even though I showed him the GNOME interface, he chose, for some reason, to stick with Unity. Any way, he's been using it for the entire week and hasn't touched Windows 7, and although I don't think he'll get rid of Windows 7, after all he has a high-end custom built PC for gaming, he does everything else but Gaming on it. You just need determination/

  • @theif519 I love Ubuntu. If Windows decided to go CLOUD I'm going to be switching to Ubuntu. I don't want my data to go to china so some weird china nerd can know what I download. :-D

  • @otakumike2006 Or you could get a Mac and have your cloud data in the USA not in China land.

  • @bootstrap1668 Nah if that happens I'll go completely FREEBSD. And last I heard isn't Apple going cloud?
