If you saw as many movies as I have you wouldn't make reference to the most generic directors and movies of all time. Kubrick? Lynch? Robert Rodriguez? It's so obvious you know zilch. How can you look at the work you produced and not feel completely ashamed? You can watch all the good movies in your lifetime though btw. People already knew me and the project for a long time which defeated the purpose. I honestly was rebelling against standard film language, so I tried to make it primitive like a kind of home movie. That was the point all along.

You went out and shot some shitty video pretending to be a fictional character. What you did doesn't qualify as a movie, you just went out and filmed some shit, none of it good. You can make a beautiful film for nothing if you love movies enough. Maybe you're like Ed Wood, you like your movies so much you can't see how awful they are. Look, try and throw some french new wave in your movie. Go out and just start making shots and find your style. Don't just ramble on camera.

@McNugget06 You refuse to get my point. I have tons of movie scripts I can do with shots and coverage and brilliant editing and cinematography. This is MEANT to be the opposite. If I have offended the film school contingent, then there is nothing I can do about that now. This is not MEANT to be a movie. This is a characters personal document. I suppose if I get to make a different type of movie, I will have to make sure it is the most beautifully realized creation ever to make everyone happy.

Your tastes don't allow you to see what is going on here.....Louis CK was doing a bit and I fed the bit...but he didn't seriously watch this. This movie is more an uncompromising message film than cheap horror. The message and style are deliberately deceptive. But like I say...I'm wasting my time in this forum,

@thepaulo77 Personally I find Nouvelle Vague to be very dull as much as I admire the hell out of it. Their crusade to admonish their art-form, came at the expense of the film itself. It became a display case for a method of expression. Not so strange, considering that most Europeans had the bourgeois perception of art during those times. That it's worth was correspondent to the artist's reputation. Your thoughts oh great film Guru?
