I always hear this argument about "real drummers don't use e-kits"..I think the pros who do use them keep proving that a truly great drummer can bring his own style through the e-kit and make great music with anything, even on pots and pans! I like acoustics a lot but I also like e-drums as well.
I'm in the process of making a video of the VPT package. Sure, I may not be the best drummer in the world, but you'll hear the difference. Roland is just... limited... limited to the capabilities of just one module. They don't produce VSTi's. But, I'm sure you knew that, no? ;-) I'll let you know when the video's complete.
Too bad those aren't RET Percussion sets... that could've been a cool video. Why do Rolands always sound like toys? Maybe it's the fake reverb sound they use? I just don't get it!
Dude just give it up already RET sets arent nearly as good as the Roland. The Roland sets are way better and no offense but unlike RET Kits there are about a million possibilities with a Roland set. You can buy the pads separate which you cant do with other kits and other brands bcuz its way 2 complicated. Roland is the best electronic drums

Too bad those aren't RET Percussion sets... that could've been a cool video. Why do Rolands always sound like toys? Maybe it's the fake reverb sound they use? I just don't get it!

Dude just give it up already RET sets arent nearly as good as the Roland. The Roland sets are way better and no offense but unlike RET Kits there are about a million possibilities with a Roland set.
