@peeterpolomaa huh? i love mine, i have several from old ironheads to newer evos. one i custom built from front to back, new frame, wheels, forks, and every accys on it and i still call it a harley too just the same as the rest. its not the bike, its the Vtwin engine, the style and the torque that make it a harley.

Sorry....what's with all the 'rebel' imagery in this vid? The average Sporty is bought by the likes of me, to wit: lower middle class aging biker. Don't get me wrong; I love my Sporty...great handling (when I removed the too-hard progressive suspension). Great brakes (Japanese Nissin!), and a 1200cc engine that just wants to pull and pull. Only real prob, is that everything, apart from the brakes, is bloody UNC....horrible, when you're used to the purity of metric. (waits for outraged comments).

2.1 Gallon tank? My Sporty has a 3.3, and it's rubbish if you want to do long distances. A real pain, when you're looking out for a petrol station every 70 miles or so. Mind you; I've also a Honda X4, which looks as though it has a big tank....same vol as the Sporty! Now THAT'S annoying!!!

I can understand the hive-mind mentality. I cannot stand to see all that chinese made leather flying around, attached to die-hard american machines. I get the resentment to the resistance of change. However, noone has commented on the SIZE of the tank, which is the most flawed thing about this machine. Instead, they choose to attack Harley as a movement. There IS no movement. It's just a company, like many others, which makes bikes. I like this bike. I like what it represents.

We enjoy the freedom to ride what we want and dress how we like. No sense denying that to others because you don't like their pants.

This bike is really cool and I hope it brings more young people who don't need to dress like pirates or 70's "bikers" into the fold.
