My Grampa was in Korea, my great uncle in WWII, and my uncle in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf War. Other relatives served, those are the only in combat. Joining the Marines.
thank you all for your support. i recently joined the army and i leave for basic in about a week. and being out with the recruters and seeing on thier faces how it feels when you have someone come up to you and thank you for your service is a great thing. so next time you see a soldier tell him or her, thanks. it really does mean alot.

Wow that part where the mother is holding the folded flag and touching her sons or husbands casket is so hard to watch and not feel overcome with sadness for all the lost.
I like to see there are others who beleive in them and what they are doing. Its not Iraq its not Afghanistan its the war being a Marine and what your job is. Many Marines would be dissapointed if they never saw combat. Soldiers alike. Thats the reason alot of people sign up. I dont want to hurt civilians i want to save a brothers life if i can. Thats what its about them not bush not all the rich politicians. Its about middle class and rarely upper class people who sacirfice everything for 1 USA.

We seldom realize this. The soldiers over there are not only fighting for keeping us safe from those who want to inflict punishment because of our freedom, but the soldiers are fighting for the people over there who want to claim their freedom. They're fighting for people they have never met, never known and may never get to speak to. They are fighting to give them a chance. I am proud to know some of these men. And I am proud to know our country is doing this!

My Grampa was in Korea, my great uncle in WWII, and my uncle in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf War. Other relatives served, those are the only in combat. Joining the Marines.

my aunt was in the war.
all my respect goes to the troops, and they treated me like family :)
but 6 years ago on 420, she took her life.
i got her medals.

thank you all for your support. i recently joined the army and i leave for basic in about a week. and being out with the recruters and seeing on thier faces how it feels when you have someone come up to you and thank you for your service is a great thing. so next time you see a soldier tell him or her, thanks. it really does mean alot.

God bless all the troops... i've just been i afghanistan and are going back next month... i've promissed myself that i wouldn't but i can't leave my friends alone down there... lost 3 of them last week they got blowed up by a RPG... i can't recomment u to go to afghanistan or iraq but it's your choice make sure to pick the right!

My brother is home now from his second tour in Iraq and i am very happy and i thank god every day that his is home safe and sound. I pray for all the soldiers that are serving in Iraq and Afganistan may God be with all of you! Que Dios los bendiga y proteja siempre!!!!

i send my respects in honor of your son. Marines or Army, Navy or Air Force, our nations soldiers deserve everything we have, personally, i think everyone should join the military for 2 years at least, like russia, even if its communists, it builds character and leadership and builds heart. not to mention itd scare the shit out of others if EVERYONE in america was a marine or somethings. I like to see there are others who beleive in them and what they are doing. Its not Iraq its not Afghanistan its the war being a Marine and what your job is. Many Marines would be dissapointed if they never saw combat. Soldiers alike. Thats the reason alot of people sign up. I dont want to hurt civilians i want to save a brothers life if i can. Thats what its about them not bush not all the rich politicians. Its about middle class and rarely upper class people who sacirfice everything for 1 USA.

We Support our troops some may not understand or believe in this war ,I ask you still to support our troops these brave men and women understand why they are there and they will lay down their life for us. We seldom realize this. The soldiers over there are not only fighting for keeping us safe from those who want to inflict punishment because of our freedom, but the soldiers are fighting for the people over there who want to claim their freedom. They're fighting for people they have never met, never known and may never get to speak to. They are fighting to give them a chance. I am proud to know some of these men. And I am proud to know our country is doing this!
