  • wow love it

  • brilliant!brings back a lot of happy memories...

  • Cool. :)

  • Nice job with the sound. Did you know the AY can do the low bass you wanted? :) For the video, please check the ones I've uploaded. I too have the videoface, but if I wanted to convert the clip I would download the .FLV clip from youtube with download helper, convert it to avi or edit/crop it using an flv editor, make a note of the framerate, convert it to image sequences with bmp2scr, import it to virtual dub, set the original frame rate again, add your border and audio and re-upload it. :)

  • @zxspectrum128: You'll have to tell me how...

I've checked your vids. 'Ver good!

But I still dunno how to improve the bass sounds on any of the AY series chips.

  • @weegerri1sm Timer effects and other such goodness that you can get out of a decent tracker (along with digidrums etc). You could use something like MaxYMiser on the Atari ST but I don't know what would be suitable for the Spectrum. Hopefully the FX would be the same as they relied on VBlanks etc rather than CPU speed, but the reduced number of T-states MIGHT be an issue...

Still, what you did here sounds perfectly fine already, even without deep bass. Don't be down! :-)

  • Great Sound , nice clip (-:

  • Hey, thanks! :D
