@gabe4u22 hey gabe... i've been playing for like 12 years now, i went to berklee. When you say "I can play absolutely anything" I think you should understand that NO ONE, even people who play their whole life, can do that hahah but i like your confidence. always try to find things you can't do, or you'll get bored of drumming. My "theory" is trying to play things that fit the song, and push your limits, and practice emulating the drummers you look up to :)

@TheCOM1993 absolutely. I used to play "keyboard drums" till I got myself a kit and taught myself how to play the drums by watching videos of inspiring drummers such as this guy up on the screen. Except back then I watched tapes and VCD's instead of finding it all so easily on youtube. If you've got the passion for it, there's no reason why you shouldn't go for it - even if you end up being shit. So long as you have a lot of fun on your musical journey. Enjoy!

actually, i think it's possible.

I mean, you play losts of the standard 4/4 time signatures with the snare on the 2 and 4, and the bass on the 1 and 3.

So If you are good at Rockband, you probably have a small benefit at the real deal.
